Pharmacist shares his political views indirectly to you and shamed you.

The pharmacist who gave me the flu shot doesn't know what he is doing. I never had a bad bruises on the injection site before. I know, he hit a vein. I noticed that that injection site bled. I'm still in pain in left arm and neck. Terrible service. I'm never going back for another flu or vaccine shot.

It’s a revolving door of pharmacists lately. All seem unfriendly and never make eye contact. Two times we were given the wrong medication. Since K’Adeem left the whole atmosphere changed. Most expensive grocery store in town too.

I have set appointments here for vaccinations several times over the years. Regardless of setting appointments, I have ALWAYS had to sit in the waiting room for 30 minutes, even when there isn't anyone in front of me!

Safeway is my primary pharmacy in Phoenix and my 98 year old mother's in Flagstaff. The customer service experience we encountered today didn't live up to our expectations.I called while driving up to find out if I could take her to get an RSV shot. I was told by the pharmacist that they had it and could give it to her today. I asked if I needed an appointment or if I could just drop in. He said I could drop in. That was essentially the end of our conversation. When I took her in, the counter person said they were about 2 minutes from taking lunch and they couldn't do it yet.I explained that mother's age made it difficult to hang around for a half hour, as she was using a walker and we had made it to the back of the store once already. I also told him that the lunch hour was not communicated to me over the phone. He talked to the pharmacist again and he said to complete the form and come back in 30 minutes.Really, is this what we have devolved into for customer service, especially for a 98 year old customer? My local Safeway in Phoenix would never do this. Unfortunately, mom will be using a new pharmacy moving forward. Please don't get me wrong, I completely feel that they are entitled to a lunch break, but it wouldn't have killed them to make this work for a senior citizen. No compassion, no empathy for her situation. Such a sad experience.

Really?!? Everyone takes lunch at the same time?! What about your customers needing to pick up refills while one their lunch break?! Be like every other business and stager your lunch times because you're seriously inconveniencing a lot of people!!

So, I had surgery and can't get out of my dadgum car! I've been twice to place an order and they're nice enough to bring the order to my car... even took the time to bring produce and bread to front window instead of just chucking it in the back with the rest of the groceries. So, great job guys!

It's your typical grocery store with everything you would need. I'm more of a Fry's grocery person and prefer their prices over Safeway. But nonetheless if I need something in a pinch, they will have it and they're usually less crowded then other grocery stores in the area. Plenty of parking and bathrooms are clean!

My husband ran in today to get some fajitas for me because my hands are killing me today and I didn't feel like slicing vegetables and chicken. There wasn't any in the meat case. My husband asked if they had any in the back and the gentleman in the meat dept said "No, but I'll make some!" That's the kind of above and beyond that is becoming so rare. Thanks!

I was so happy when Arizona passed a mask mandate, but Safeway does not enforce it. People are wandering around without masks ignoring the arrows of direction for each aisle, and it honestly feels like a germ pit. What's the point of the state FINALLY enforcing mask rules if they are ignored by big box companies that can afford to lose a few customers for the safety of the majority of their customers AND the safety of their employees? Very unfortunate.

I make a habit of shopping at Safeways on our travels because I'm from CA and appreciate the familiarity and quality of this chain. This particular Safeway is clean, has great service and quality. However, for the past several weeks I've checked for rice and split peas and there hasn't been any (attributed to the current pandemic.) In fact the beans section has bare shelves. Got fed up and went to Frys down the street where I found two different brands of split peas and a plethora of rice -- white, brown, basmati, jasmine, etc. I think I found myself a new market, at least for now.
