My email today is two fold. First I want to call to your attention the terrible situation you put your employee in today; he was the ONLY employee working at your store. We placed a 20 gal. order early in the morning and because he was very busy with three other customers, we told him we would come back in a couple hours to pick our order up, we didn't need it right away. We went back a couple, three hours later and he was still another three customers deep and he wasn't able to still fill our order. We told him we would come back after lunch and give him some more time. We went back as promised, again he was very busy with customers, but he had fulfilled our order and stopped to help us out. I have been in business for 40 years and find it very troubling that management would only schedule one person for a busy holiday weekend; who would have thought about people having a long weekend and want to get some painting projects done? I believe you really need to look at this management decision, I am sure everyone else was having a great holiday weekend. As a manager, it is your responsibility to act in place and assist your employees. Two stars are for management.Secondly, I want to brag on Lucas (That is the name on the receipt, pretty sure it was his name) FIVE STARS for Lucas ; as busy as he was, he showed no frustration and was trying his best to perform great customer service. I have to say, if I was constantly bombarded with customers like he was, I would probably lose my crap. You should be proud of him and do what you can to keep him; it would be my guess that he probably won't be there long being treated like he is. Maybe there is a good reason you only scheduled one person today; I would hope that you would rethink the same again. As for Lucas, he did not complain and the only reason I know he was alone today, is because I asked him, nothing negative came from his mouth. I even felt like I wanted to help him, but I am sure he wouldn't have had it. Each time we went in, the customers waiting was feeling sorry for him and ALL questioning why only one person was there. Thank you for listening.

Terrible customer service. We purchased samples, small rollers and a roller handle. We realized we had rollers and a roller handle that didn’t work together when we went to put up the samples, so we went to the closest hardware store to our home and purchased the proper roller handle. First off, the employee who sold us the handle and roller should have known and mentioned they didn’t work together. That’s just common courtesy and proper product knowledge. When I brought the handle with receipt back to the store, they wouldn’t refund or even credit this apx $5 roller handle to save a $4000+ paint and supply sale… the very arrogant manager didn’t care that he would loose our business and even stated how he does million’s a year in sales. Maybe my purchase doesn’t make a difference to them or the company, but my money and hopefully yours will be spent better elsewhere.

Always reliable paint and supplies. Friendly staff. Nice that they are open so early. Their paint has gotten more expensive, but they did give me a nice discount when I asked for it.

Came in to look at paint colors for our home interior. After the young man at the desk came out, we asked for a sample of one color. The other color that we were debating came in one of the peel and stick samples which was adequate. He informed us that they "don't do samples". I asked how I'm intended to see what a color looks like in the home and I was met with a shrug. I asked if he could discount a small paint can and mentioned that the SW on the west end of town will mark them down as samples. His response "I'd have to call my manager but he's not going to go for it". We walked out and won't be returning. Crappy customer service and a crappy store policy. I understand that there is a shortage (so I was told at the store on the West side who will receive our business going forward) of paint, but how do you expect your customers to choose a paint color for 2000sq ft without offering ANY kind of way to work with a customer? Who picks a paint color for 6 rooms without seeing it in the space first? No wonder most people get their paint at Home Depot these days.

Love the paint. I think the salesman was having a tough day. Although we were served, he didn't seem to happy

I just bought more paint (the amount of paint I've bought here is kind of on the ridiculous tbh lol)! They have a great color selection as always, the staff is always friendly & helpful, they can keep a record of what paint you've bought if you forget what sheen you're wanting for the exterior paint or which type, etc. I'm super psyched about the progress of the exterior of my home coming along as it's all one color finally & now I'm ready to do the trim so got that today. If anyone needs a recommendation for a handyman/painter who goes above & beyond I'm happy to share because they are really doing a phenomenal job & are diligently sealing all the things that need it & recommending fixes only when necessary (which my house needs because they really did some odd things with the build so long ago). Anyhow, today at SW they were very thorough in ensuring that the color I selected would translate effectively to exterior paint & double checked things which they're always good about. Pretty straight forward today because I knew exactly what I needed so it was a quick transaction but they were really kind & helpful as they always are here at this location which is why I'll always buy paint from them. They often have sales on paint as well so even though you may find "cheaper" paint elsewhere, this paint has been much more consistent to paint with, stays true to color over time better & lasts longer as a sealant to elements better compared to any other brand. I paint often & am really into real estate so I've been able to test quite a few colors, brands & etc so SW really is superior in my experience & I've always been pleased. Usually the interior color is just a teensy bit darker than the swatch appears in my experience while their exterior colors are slightly lighter in my experience. It's not drastic but I'm really specific with colors so something to note. They're good at documenting the colors that go into each swatch as well so paying attention to base colors makes a difference in overall tonality depending on lighting as well which is great. As someone who never got the expensive crayon boxes growing up I'm having a great time creating a sweet home vibe with paint & in my humble opinion paint is kind of the best & easiest method to recreate or redefine a space on or off a budget. Do it!

Staff wore masks, yadda yadda. We went in for a gallon of a neutral color to match the paint currently on the walls (Sherwin Williams brand). We were told it wasn't eligible for the advertised 30% discount and that we could get a much better paint for cheaper. We stayed with the original match. The bill was over $50 for the gallon with a story about being 'contractor grade' and 'they get a special price', and...wait...a 30% discount WAS applied to our bill!! That makes our paint over $70/gal, being admittedly sub-standard. We simply wanted to match the paint currently applied. At the risk of being slightly off for any future interior paint work, I will go elsewhere and get their premium paint at half the S/W price.

The people who work in this store are so knowledgeable about their products. It's such a nice surprise to go into a store with questions and come out with answers that are correct. I wouldn't buy my paint anywhere else. The prices are very competitive, especially during their sales. In fact, they are usually less expensive in the long run because their paints last so much longer and are so much easier to work with. Thanks, Sherwin-Williams for making sure your staff is educated in every aspect of your multiple products.
