We had to stay here due to a plumbing issue at our place. The city of Flagstaff put us at Sonesta ES Suites. We were in two 2-room suites. We had all the luxuries of home. We had a stove and oven, refrigerator, and even a dishwasher. The separation of the 2 rooms was great for privacy. Each room in the suites had their own bathroom as well, which was also great. The kids loved the hot breakfast each morning. The only complaint I have about that is they had a little station for breakfast burritos, but I never saw any tortillas.?The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I only wish we had stayed during the summer when the pool was open since it was closed for the winter. Next time we need to stay at a hotel we'll definitely remember Sonesta!

It’s been four days and I still cannot get over how dingy my hotel room was so I decided to go ahead and leave a review. I wish that I was able to include pictures of the broken and shabby furnishings (I took several). I thought that maybe I was given a run down room because I brought my pup but then what was the $75 pet fee for? That’s right… $75 for one night for a perfectly behaved 19 pound dog.In addition to the broken furniture, broken remote control, broken closet, clogged kitchen sink, and tattered “sofa” (not a real sofa, more like outdoor rattan furniture that had clearly seen better days…the room didn’t even have a coffee table…it was so odd) it was disappointing that there were no composite logs available for the fireplace. Definitely something someone should have informed me of prior to or at check-in or I would not have paid extra for a room with a fireplace. DoorDash to the rescue who delivered a Duraflame on New Year’s Eve. And shout out to Taylor who took the cost of the log and delivery off my bill.

Was a bit skeptical after reading the recent reviews but went on to book it after reading other positive reviews. I would say I was not disappointed. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The morning buffet was also ok. The only negative is the parking cost. It’s not huge but not sure why they charge it as additional. Those 5 bucks could be added to the room rates itself . Not sure why it’s separate.

I was there from Thursday night until Saturday morning. The Front desk staff was amazing, the breakfast attendant was amazing. Great atmosphere. Beautiful scenery, woke up both mornings to snow on the ground. I will definitely be back.

We were here for work. And something happened with the lock mechanism of our door. We sat outside of our room for 2 hours waiting for someone to come help us get in. The manager would not even speak with us. They offered us another room without any of our belongings. Apparently there's only one maintenance man in the whole entire building and he was in Albuquerque at the time. I think it is very sad when we are here for work. We worked 12 hours today and have to be back at work at 6:30 in the morning. It is now 10:00 p.m. and I am still not in my room.

Around Thanksgiving we stay at this same hotel due to this location to everything, it’s cleanliness and it has a full size kitchen. Since we travel with pets it is pet friendly and affordable. I should note that they have a flat rate when it comes to the pet fee so if you’re only staying for one day then it would be a little pricey. We love it also because it has a nice fireplace. Plus they have a large dog run area that if you’d like you can have a picnic there as well.

Overall, the room was pretty good. Nice and big with two separate rooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was perfect for what we needed. The furniture needs to be updated. The couch was falling apart in the bottom and the leather on the chair cracking and chipping away. One of the neighbors used their fireplace and it made a very strong Smokey smell in our room to where we have to open windows. Worst part was zero maid service. Stayed there 4 nights and when I called to asked about it, they said they would be there Saturday. Never came. Would stay there again, now I would know what to expect.

While out of the way for anyone wanting to see downtown Flagstaff, it was absolutely perfect for my purposes. I needed a weekend away with my dogs. The suite we were in was quiet and clean, with a comfy bed and nice walking paths around the complex. When one of my dogs got sick in the room, there was no fuss about letting me borrow a carpet cleaner to take care of it myself. When she needed to go out in the middle of the night, the complex was well lit, but not surface of the sun bright.Overall, despite some personal hardship, I liked it and would definitely stay again should the opportunity arise.

Check-in was great but that’s where the good stuff ends. The first room we were given was terrible. The comforter had a large dirty stain, the floor had not been swept, the carpet was filthy and duct taped down, and the door was absolutely filthy. The window sills had dead bugs on them and the vents and registers were all covered in dust. We went back to the front desk and got in line to see if we could try a different room. Two guests also in the lobby were having a similar experience and looking to change rooms. The front desk attendant was pleasant and apologetic, offered us free parking (I figured parking was included?) and gave us a second room to try. It was just as bad as the first. We left without staying there and found a different hotel in Flagstaff.

This hotel has really gotten run-down. I stayed here many times between 2014-2018 and had a positive experience. This time was not good. The kitchen sink was clogged and the dishwasher was broken. The carpet and couch cover were stained to the point of not wanting to sit on the couch. I understand this is a pet-friendly hotel, but this was gross and maybe an environment seen at a 1-star hotel. But for the price of this hotel, it was sad to see it so unkept.

Just stayed in night but was surprised to see it had a full size fridge and stove (we didn’t need):King bed was too firm, sofa bed was horrible for my teenage son, mattress was paper thin and you could feel springs right through. Felt bad and should have had him share the king with us.Breakfast was horrible but I didn’t expect much and we weren’t hungry anyway. Coffee very weak.If you are just looking for a place to sleep at least it is clean and safe.

This place is crazy expensive for what you get. There are a ton of hidden fees that they don't tell you about until you check in. I was so tired from driving across the country that by the time I got there I just accepted the fees as they kept tacking them onto my bill. After I left the hotel, I was charged twice for my stay. The second charge was the entire cost of the stay plus $50. I called and asked why this was happening and the lady at the front desk told me that this was some sort of "incidental hold" that would drop off after 5 business days. More than an inconvenience in my case.I'll be getting an airbnb next time I'm in Flagstaff. ✌️
