The room was dirty with broken floor tiles, cracked sink, cracked windows & damaged walls.
The website features images of rooms that are not at all at this establishment.
The room was without a small table or desk. Nor did it have even one chair in the room.
The room was miserably uncomfortable as the only alternative to standing was the beds. Uncool.
The mini fridge was too small to accommodate even a soda can & it was missing the side rails intended to secure items on the door shelves. It was as useful as not having a fridge at all.
Also, the owners are so cheap they don't even store extra bedding in the room the way a respectable establishment always does..
It was very cold the night I spent here, the heater does not warm the room efficiently & the bedclothes basically consist of a fitted sheet, two flat sheets & 4 pitiful excuses for pillows. The bedding is uncomfortable & offers no warmth whatsoever.
On top of all this, the owner reserved us a room with one king bed despite being told we were two adults & a child. This made me aware he lacks any ability to listen to potential guests, let alone any desire to accommodate & see to the needs & comfort of his guests.
There was, after all, a room available with 3 beds(would've been perfect for a family with a child. Right? ) However, he took it upon himself to decide a small room with one king sized bed would be the appropriate room for us without even asking if we would prefer the larger room.
The next morning the staff attempted to rush us out two hours prior to check out time just because they saw me walk out to the car for something.
The location of this establishment is very close to NAU. My assumption is the owners think the convenience of their hotel's close proximity to the university is so highly desirable that that, in itself, is enough. I feel like they think guests should be so beside themselves with gratitude for being so close to NAU that they don't need to offer adequate lodging or any semblance of quality customer service skills.
Please, let me assure you, motels near the campus in downtown Flagstaff are in abundance. You can do so much better than the L Motel & you owe yourself better.
Flagstaff is a beautiful city. Do yourself a favor & make sure your accommodations are comfortable & uphold an acceptable level of quality.

Grimy, outrageously overpriced, the blanket is wafer thin but at least this matches the pillows. The microwave was filthy, there was someone’s left overs on the tv remote, the walls dirty and paint peeling, and the noise intrusion from the street was remarkable. I wish I’d slept in the car on a dodgy dirt road in the middle of nowhere.

The staff was kind and tried to do things what i asked for. The room was not that clean as a decent hotel, but it was good and the price was also reasonable.
Food and drinks: There are some restaurants nearby the motel.

I've stayed in a lot of cheap motels. This one is the cheapest and worst. The floor was sticky, the sheets and mattress stained, pillows stained and thin, bathroom was the only thing that seemed acceptable. Whole room smelled bad and looked awful. Visibly poorly maintained from top to bottom. Ended up shelling out to go to another nicer hotel on short notice. It's called the L motel because staying here is a complete loss.

Stayed here for one night felt fairly uncomfortable, the place smelled, bed was hard as a rock, tossed and turned all night long. After leaving manager tried to charge my card another $15 luckily I always have my card on locked!!!! Will never stay there again!!!! The floor was all broke and I definitely was not showering due to all the filth I had already seen!!! Our bed was covered in hair and it made me gag bad!!!! Worse place to go to!!

NEVER STAY HERE , SKETCHY PLACE , THEY WILL NEVER REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT THAT THEY PROMISE TO REFUND THE NEXT DAY .. AVOID THIS PLACE .. MOTEL 6 IS MUCH BETTER !

If you're able to stay somewhere else, do it! The manager took my money for the night and then 15 minutes later called the cops to have me and my 3 special needs kids removed from the hotel because I "didn't disclose how many pets I had" even tho I had been here over a week and he never asked how many pets I have. The people 2 rooms over also have several dogs, and that doesn't seem to be an issue. The rooms are run down and we had seen several bugs since we have been here. Now I have to wait for my money to be returned to me, with nowhere to go for the night since I used the last of my money to pay for the room for tonight. Terrible business, terrible rooms, terrible manager. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

Front office personnel was good. Motel dated and not maintained well. Shower had very low pressure and did not drain. Good location close to downtown area.

There were no towels or toliet paper in the room. The bed frame support stuck out and could have ripped my legs had I noticed how bad it was after I scrapped my leg. The bathroom door did not close. The basin hot water did not work. There was a pail under basin and you had to turn on the water and dump the pail when done. Where there had been a fan in bathroom, wires were hanging down and it was dusty and disgusting. The host sent us downtown to eat, very expensive, we drove quite a ways and found Texas Roadhouse. I had asked the host about a Sizzler Restaurant and he apparently never heard of it. We has been driving for 11 hours and were tired. Will never stay there again. In the morning 6am we left towards the I40 and saw a Sizzler less than 2 miles close to I40. Stayed there about 8 years ago and it the motel has gone down.

Disappointed is an understatement.
We checked in and everything seemed fine. The location was good and the staff seemed nice.
When we got into the room it was gross so we asked for a refund and left.
We were told the pending charge wouldn’t post, but they took our money anyway. Cross this place off your list.
Edit: I see the bizarre response from the business owner. You said we’d get our money back and didn’t. Had you just refunded as promised, this review wouldn’t exist. We were going to let it go and move on.

Worst hotel room of the last 10 years.
Rooms: Filthy, dilapidated, scandalous. The floor was so dirty that we didn't dare put our luggage on it. Have never experienced anything like this.
