On Saturday Feb 3rd 2024. I woke up took my dog out for his morning walk he did his business and everything seemed fine. And then the next thing I see his pooping out blood and lot of it. I didn’t know what to do. Went onto google and found the closest pet ER to me. Gave them a call, they were very calm as I was crying and had no idea what was going on. Took my lil guy in 30min later. The entire staff was very very helpful and very calming as I was a mess and didn’t know what to do. The ensure me everything would be fine and so far it is. A big thank you to the entire team. My lil guy isn’t 100 percent back to normal just yet but he’s getting there. 10/10 go to this place if you ever find yourself in a crisis with your animal

RUN FAR AWAY from this place. Drive to Phoenix. Drive to Albuquerque, Drive anywhere but here for an emergency. This place literally only cares about one thing. MONEY. Prepare to be financially taken advantage of before your animals are even looked at or treated. While on a cross country expediting job our mischievous dogs got into their vetprofen while in the hotel. We were unsure of which one actually ate the or consumed them, but it was an entire bottle. After treating with peroxide, we were able to get one to vomit but not the other. Long story short, On a Friday night in January, being in Gallup New Mexico, we rushed in the middle of the night to this vets office. We brought in the dog we couldn't get to vomit. They immediately wanted $1500. Sure, 1 am across the country from home, take it. I had mentioned I was worried about the other dog and they said I should bring him in when I said, would the original 1500$ go towards helping the other dog, The vets smiling words , which are forever ingrained in my mind "OH NO, IT WILL BE MUCH MORE" And basically telling me the dogs toxic loads are right below death, but in kidney failure range. Two hours went by before they even treated our dog (Meanwhile serious toxicity could be occurring) Now our bill was 3500 ( for blood work and fluids)... before being treated. Not even offering to give our other dog charcoal, which after research, would have done wonders and stopped further toxicity. I had to watch, while financially marooned over the weekend while my 1 poor dog suffered through processing the toxic amount of drugs while I did everything I could to comfort him, while my other dog was happy as a clam, not actually sick racking up a make believe vet bill. Our dogs blood work came back clean on the first test, so I said, we should probably bring the other one in, because it confirmed my fear, but nope, they already had one cash cow, they made us believe our dog would miraculously get worse of! This place lacks any empathy. I wish nothing but the worst for Dr Wassef, a truly evil man. I will never, ever forgive you for what you put us through. (Both of my dogs are alive and healthy to this day) I just couldn't financially handle a $7000++ bill for the unknown and it was the most emotionally traumatic event I have ever had to be apart of. SHAME THIS PLACE

We took our Akita Nyx here on a Sunday morning because she was limping and were immediately helped. The office staff were all very kind and helpful. Dr. Wassef was a huge help with her injured foot. We found out later that she fractured her toe and dislodged the joint, for which they aided us towards the next steps. We were really worried as any pet parent would be and yet they made us feel right at home. My daughter and I highly recommend them, for anyone who needs care for their furry friends.Thank you so much to Dr. Wassef, Ariel, and Kailey you were all exceptional. :)

Oh my gosh they were absolutely wonderful. Took our Greyhound in right away and amputated her poor little toe. We immediately got a room, quick information, and they were available over the 24 hours of care and surgery to immediately answer any questions. Their aftercare instructions were incredibly clear and Dr. Wassef did a FANTASTIC job. Saved most of her toe and took so much time explaining exactly what was happening. We never felt rushed or confused. We could also tell they took good care of our pup overnight; she adored Nicki and Bri even as we were saying goodbye. They were referred to me by two other happy customers and I will always refer them to others.

I am an ER vet but I practice in Phoenix. My Chihuahua got seriously injured while we were traveling. I knew Dr. Wassef was here in Flagstaff, and was so glad it was a Sunday so his hospital would be open. I knew that my beloved little dog needed a trauma surgery - and I also knew that - for real veterinary emergencies in Flagstaff - Dr. Wassef has the highest level of skill and education, and therefore was our only logical choice. If he hadn't been open I would have driven back down to Phoenix to see a boarded surgeon. But lucky for us he was open, and six weeks later my little girl is back to normal. I feared she would lose her entire limb, but thanks to Dr. Wassef she is fully ambulatory again despite the severity of her injury. Thank goodness for Dr. Wassef and his whole team. They were all wonderful, and I will be forever grateful.

I am very happy they are open 24 hours. After my dog was injured, they were able to get her in without hesitation on a Saturday. In my area the veterinarians are extremely high priced or closed on weekends. We live approximately 2 1/2 hours away from this center so I called ahead, they took my information over the phone and had everything ready for us when we arrived at 10:30 Saturday evening.I set my appointment with Petra, she is the emergency technician manager. Petra was amazing! As we were walking from our vehicle, she opened the door, met us outside and welcomed us in with excitement. She explained the process thoroughly during our intake. She was very sweet and caring to my injured dog and showed concerns for our exhaustion as well. The facilities are spacious and clean. There is ample parking and it is easy to find. There is a hotel on the same property as the clinic that is reasonably priced.I strongly recommend this clinic in an emergency. The veterinarian wanted to do everything he could to be as thorough as possible. Due to pricing, I decided to reject some of his recommendations and will address these issues with my vet when they open Monday morning.Overall, I am very happy with the experience here. I feel Petra made the biggest impact on our experience in such a positive way. I cannot say enough about how welcome she made us feel and how concerned she was for not only the comfort of my pet, but for us as well.

I brought my dog in after being attacked by two javelina. The staff were calm and collected. Kind, caring & helpful. They explained everything to me without any medical jargon so I could understand easily. Which makes a huge difference when you and your animal are in crisis. Both the doctor and nurse seemed very experienced and educated. Which helped me remain at ease that my dog was in the best care.My dog had to stay overnight but they assured me that I could call any time. I called before going to bed and after speaking with the staff it gave me the peace of mind I needed to actually get some sleep. The next morning when they discharged my dog they walked me through all of the aftercare and answered any questions I had. Petra was absolutely wonderful, as well as the doctor. I snapped a photo of this cute wall they have of ALL the grateful owners they have helped save their animals’ lives. Thank you thank you thank you! Would highly recommend!!!

I wish I could put minus 5. This establishment is the absolute worst place I have ever been in my life. We are visiting Flagstaff and our 4 year old English Bulldog swallowed a foot of a stuffed animal. Being concerned we called and asked if we could get an X-ray. The waiting room was completely empty (I see why now). They took our dog to the back and when the vet (Dr. Calhoun) came in she asked if he was eliminating, drinking, eating. She probably knew at this point he was not blocked when we answered yes to all. But she wanted to do massive amounts of bloodwork, pancreatic tests, last being the X-rays and the X-rays would only be shown to us " if she wanted to". What are they trying to hide? They wanted us to pay astronomical fees for unnecessary tests. It has never been about the money with us as anyone with an EBD knows. When we just asked for the X-rays everything went south. After an hour and a half they would not give us our dog back even with the emergency visit money laying on the front desk. They held him hostage until I called 911. This place is dangerous and unethical, very scary.

We came here recently due to an emergency with our pet. We found the staff to be kind, caring, and understanding. The doctor was very kind and helpful in explaining the situation and our options.

The vet & staff were kind, supportive and very empathetic when we brought our sweet Abby in. She was 14-1/2 years old and we knew we were losing her. They gave us plenty of time to say goodbye and that memory is very sweet. They really cared and it helped us tremendously.

My dog Karma was having some problems and I drove two and a half hours here. They were absolutely amazing with her. She is an aggressive dog and they did great. She had to have surgery and stay the weekend. I honestly question if the regular vet would have performed the surgery I don't know if I would have had the same outcome. I am so happy from the doctor to the staff. They did amazing and Karma is doing wonderful. I can't thank you enough for saving my dog!

Very happy with their services! Our dog was attacked by another dog on a Saturday night. They got him in, fixed him up and 3 weeks later he is good to go. They told me the different treatments and costs beforehand so no surprises. Our dog needed surgery, stitches, drains and meds so yes it was a little more expensive than a regular vet but I was happy they were open on a Saturday night. Who wants to work nights on the weekends...they deserve the extra money.
