Excellent vet technicians and Vets! They exhibit such empathy and caring when working with our fur baby and us, dealing with us at our worst, knowing we are distraught pet parents. They had come highly recommended, and I am able to see why, now!

Had a great experience today. My 2 cats had a vet tech visit with Eli, who was very pleasant, professional, and helpful with my questions.

They killed a year old great dane that went in just to get neutered and they charge hundreds for popsicle stick and gauze "splints" terrible clinic that shouldn't be open.

Best care in Flagstaff! I adopted one of the oldest cats at Coconino Humane and named her Josie. She was in rough shape and we weren’t sure that she’d survive long. Well, with the kind and excellent care of Westside, Josie is thriving! She’s 14 and purrs all of the time.

AMAZING! Westside Veterinary Clinic's staff are all so caring, friendly, and wonderful! The clinic itself is beautiful and clean! My cat recently was neutered and the entire experience has been wonderful! I had concerns with how active he was after and Christine took time over the phone to talk about it with me! I cannot send them enough praises!

Let's understand the situation: I live in Flagstaff and own a cat! What! I've heard the nickname for this town is Wagstaff, how can anyone have a cat here?... Well, I have one. I adopted a long-hair stray that showed up at my in-laws. The cat followed me to the car and really wanted to go home with me... OK, I'm a sucker for fuzzy-purring cats. Now I have a new cat... What to do? I called several vets and they were not taking new customers, and they referred me to Westside. I called and made the appointment. As "Chestnut" was a new cat, vaccinations and a full exam was in order. The vets came back quickly from the exam room and indicated that Chestnut had some severe dental problems and needed dental surgery to remove diseased teeth and he also needed extensive plaque removal as his gums were severely inflamed. Here is where the FEAR set in. I had lost a cat, "Patches" 15 years ago to complications from dental surgery (another clinic). However, watching Chestnut eat, I was sure that he was in terrible pain from his dental problems, so I scheduled the surgery. Now, here is where I exclaim that the procedures at Westside are better than five star. (six star, if I could!) They provided an extensive pre-op consultation discussing the procedure, anesthesia, IV support during the procedure, and recovery time. (A far better and more extensive discussion than when my mother-in-law had to have surgery a few years ago).I left Chestnut at Westside and went to work. They called after the procedure and reassured me that the procedure went well and I could pick him up after work. Here again 6-star service. Upon arriving back at Westside I received an extensive post-op consultation with the details of the procedure, a diagram of Chestnut's mouth showing the problem areas, and a comprehensive explanation of the extent of plaque and calculus de-scaling that was necessary. They further discussed his post-op recovery, gave me three prescription meds and briefed me with post-op expectations. The good news is that Chestnut exceeded all recovery expectations and was eating late that evening, post-surgery.In conclusion, should you have a cat, here in Wagstaff, I think that you, just as I, will be beyond delighted with the treatment and care from Westside Vets. Oh yes, if you have one of those barking, licking, jumping dogs, I believe you will find an equal level of proactive care at Westside also. Our furry friends rely on us to keep them healthy and happy; give a call to Westside. You and your furry companion will be delighted with the results!

I came to Dr Maltese for a second opinion because I felt that the first vet I went to wasn’t as invested in my dogs condition because she is an old girl. Dr. Maltese was ALL ABOUT my old girls comfort and care. She didn’t treat it like a waste of time and I left feeling much better about the prognosis and treatment plan. And they were half the cost of other specialists I have spoken to! I was just blown away and so thankful I made the trip from Utah to see this vet. She won me over and I will drive twice the distance to see her again any time my babies have a health problem.

We have a community cat that our street watches out for and shelter/feeds. He had a real bad cellulitis and abscess on his chin. I called other vets in town and they either blew me off or told me to call Animal Control. Westside understood the nature of catching a cat and urgency to be seen. They got us in the next morning. They were amazing. They incision and drained the wound which was gnarly! Gave him rabies, distemper, deworming, a one shot 14 day abx coverage, the minor surgery for a very reasonable price. I've been overcharged at other vets over the years so thought it would be more than we as a neighborhood pitching in could afford but it wasn't. They were amazing. I already have them take care of my own pets but this was a step above what other vets in town will do. Thank you guys! Chunky Monkey aka Earl Grey (depending on which neighbor name for the cat) is doing great.

Westside is top notch! The doctors, techs and all staff are professional, compassionate and so kind. When my 15 year old doggie had dental surgery, they were in contact with me throughout the day and reassured me until I was joyfully reunited with him at the end of the day. Thank you ALL at Westside!

Great experience from making the appointment to check in, tech and vet exam and treatment plan. Beautiful building and location! My dog was relaxed while there and the treatment resolved her problem overnight.

Beautiful, well-equipped, brand-new facility, but it was the same old Dr., Jenny Siess, who was gentle, thorough, attentive and caring, as always! She has seen me, and all my fur children, for many years already, and many more to come I hope! Congratulations and best wishes on this new venture!
