2,000$ for a one bedroom is ridiculous for what you get. our apartment had multiple issues walking in along with it taking about a month or two for the smell of cat pee to go away. i do love the walking trail around the apartment and they have lots of poop bags throughout the complex. our key card didn’t work the entire time of living there, i think we got it “fixed” 4-5 times. although the hot tub has also been broken like our entire lease, we were able to go maybe twice. appliances and such are outdated and dirty looking. drawers wobbly, back door and fridge had broken parts. there was no lights in the living room or bedroom which was odd. two weeks before our lease ended, my roommate got a call from the manager Penny, who was very rude and told us we needed to leave so people could move in as if we didn’t have two weeks left. they also inspected a week prior to us moving out when we were still in the process of cleaning and moving stuff out. lastly, i cleaned with bleach top to bottom, leaving it cleaner than we received it and yet our deposit was supposedly used towards cleaning—still leaving us a fee to owe. lastly maintenance team and the lady named Faith was very nice.

On balance, I love my apartment. The unit itself is great, full size washer and dryer in unit. New Management is fantastic and reasonable. I think a lot of the previous reviews were from when we had old management. WC snowplowing service it awesome - don't have to worry about shoveling the road. 4 stars because it is pretty pricey for what it is but welcome to Flagstaff. Hopefully rent doesn't continue to go up next year.

Maintenance and Office staff are terrific. Maintenance crew is quick, efficient, and respectful. The office workers are extremely kind and full of help. Overall a heartwarming environment.

Rent is similar or slightly lesser than competitors. They do not provide beds and lights in the room. They have a pool table in the community but it is open only in office hours.

The most absolutely amazing desk lady, I believe her name is Faith. She is fast and persistent and what she does and gets the job done. You can tell she enjoys her job and is great at it. She deserves more than a raise! Thank you faith!

ANTS. They also shut off the water incredibly often. Save your money and sanity and live somewhere else.

i have had the displeasure of living in this shack of an apartment complex the past year. it's not THAT bad if you remove the 40 mile an hour road at your front door, utilities shut off every few weeks that is somehow always due to an emergency, no heat for a few days during the coldest winter days, and paying over $2k every single month just to come home to a never once renovated 900 sqf shoebox with the worst white walls you'll ever see. the management here is beyond poor and will only act like they see you as a person when you first get the keys. if you want to feel like a human being, don't live here. this is just another outlet for the richest of the rich to abuse the working class. good luck on your route of exploitation of 20 year olds, you're doing great.

My fiancé and I had lived here almost two years. Woodcrest definitely is good at making themselves seem like a luxury apartment but are FAR from. We are leaving as they just announced rent going up $800 and didn't even give us the option to renew only reapply. Ida in the office is unprofessional and rude and only ever spoke to my fiancé in a professional manner and was constantly rude to me or just wouldn't communicate with me at all. A class A misogynist. I saw another review calling her homophobic and I wouldn't put it past her. Along with that the staff in general is extremely unprofessional, constantly parking in the 15 min spots meant for residents and potential residents not to mention the countless times they have broken ADA law by parking in the handicap? All and I mean ALL of the amenities they advertise suck. The jacuzzi has been closed 90% of the two years we have lived here, our water has been s*** off at random times on short notice at LEAST 30 times. Both winters we lived here our heater broke and this winter we had to use space heaters for OVER a month. Not to mention the constant worry that my 8 month old would crawl over and burn herself on them, but they hardly warmed the house. When we moved in multiple parts of the apartment were damaged and i'm SURE the money hungry horrible office people will try and find a way to blame us for that and keep our security deposit. Everything is just run down, it may look nice on the surface but BUYER BEWARE. I could go on and on about the problems with this place, including the appliances are all in poor condition. If you're looking to move in here maybe consider looking for a place that actually corresponds in quality to the price :) Oh and the carpets were horribly installed. Anyway if you're looking for a place that is more expensive than its worth , rundown and after living here for two years will screw you over then this is the one :) DELETED BUT REPOSTING also after moving out they charged us $40 for the drip pans that WE HAD TO BUY because when we moved in the ones they had were nasty as f**** Also Literally haven't had a single issue with our heater and plumbing at our new home but had water shut offs every other week at woodcrest and a broken heater every winter. Anyway this apartment is not worth $2700 and they are wild for that.

I really love living at this location for many reasons, such as the leasing staff being very cordial and super nice/helpful, but also the maintenance crew is prompt, courteous and diligent with their work. Woodcrest's locality is essential to today's busy schedule because it is conveniently placed next to Walmart, Bashas, Home Depot, gas stations, restaurants both fast food as well as dining. It also has other stores nearby like UPS, Staples and the Arizona Central Credit Union, which I use for educational purposes. As if I could not boast more concerning its whereabouts, I love the fact that I am less than a mile from the School of Forestry at NAU, which is where I am finishing my degree and the clutter of the busy streets does not feel so prominent here. Which leads to nice quiet and quaint days/nights for studying or relaxing with my family on winter nights next to the fireplace watching movies. I also have the option for an amazing exercise on the urban bike/walk trail, as the trail entrance is literally across the street, and it is great to relieve stress to let those family days/nights be a little more comforting with the release of endorphins.

I lived in woodcrest for two years and overall had a great experience. The apartments are nice and spacious with internet that is very speedy. Whenever I had a problem with anything, the front desk always answered the phone within the first few rings and were able to help me out. Maintenance was always over within a day or two to fix anything that wasn't right. Ida, who is the manager, is one of the nicest people I know and helped me so many times with different things. The property was consistently clean and I never had any difficulties parking.

Never fixed anything, rarely had working water and heat, amenities always had issues, took package acceptance away forcing us to drive across town to pick up our packages. We complained about our broken stairs for 2 years then finally they were replaced with cheap wood that they put in crooked and unevenly spaced and they rock when you step on them, the half steps of rock and cement were better. Plus rent is insane for the fact they can't even fix the water pressure or really anything. Moved to the east side of town, now we pay half of what they want and we get a town home, air-conditioning, packages, a pool, dog park. It's not worth it at all over there

Like a few other people who left a review, I would give this place a zero star review. This was quite possibly one of the worst places I have ever lived in. Every review about this place is true, the damaged water heaters, the outdated laundry (clothes still wet after drying for over an hour), the maintenance crews, the neglected work orders...After the first few months of living here, me and my boyfriend knew we wouldn't re-sign our lease. When we first moved in, the apartment was disgusting and in terrible shape and we called to have things fixed and clean months after our first walkthrough and nothing happened. We made at least 5 phone calls about our water heater and nothing ever happened, nobody was ever sent to check on it. When we moved out, we expected over half of our deposit back because we left that apartment in better shape than we got it (cleaned out the painted pet hair in the walls and baseboards) but we just received our deposit back (over a month later) and we only got $20 back...to say I am disappointed would be a lie because all Woodcrest wants is money. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

Woodcrest is such a cute complex within Flagstaff, Arizona! I lived here my sophomore-senior year at NAU and it’s just a perfect location in relation to the bus and a mile walk to campus. My main complaints regards how the office stopped taking packages when covid hit and every package had to be picked up at the post office even though the front office should take them or they should at least try to deliver to the front door. Our unit was very old and in rough shape but i’m assuming they’re doing tons of renovations to their old units so that’s nothing to worry about as a future resident. I would recommended this place to anyone with the warning of never receiving big packages. I really did love living at woodcrest and it’s a beautiful complex.
