“Took a pistol to Conquest Arms this morning. I had tried to mount a laser to Picatinny rail for two hours without success. The task seemed ridiculously simple so taking it to a competent gunsmith was slightly embarrassing. The owner was diplomatic while installing the laser to the pistol and additionally gave me good advice on the different sights in different conditions. No one type of sight is optimum in all situations. I hadn't considered that before.”
