Need more traditional 25 cent , 3 line machines. Every machine is either a penny or a dollar and like 50 lines ! That's far too confusing and your at the mercy of the casino to be honest if you won or not. I have no clue if a tree, skate, pig, hay, cloud, and barn is a good match ! No less check 50 lines.I just miss the good old machines. But none the less it's a good place to go drop a few 20's and either play for fun or if your lucky, hit it!!! We stop there on our way to Payson. They do have a lot of games though and a variety of places to eat and a bingo room. I also saw they had blackjack and various poker tables throughout. As well as a high rollers room. Check it out and good luck to you.

Overall a nice facility. The two golf courses are great.Stay away from the buffet. Pricey for mediocre food. The restaurants, the grill at the golf course and sports bar were very good.Housekeeping was poor. Empty water bottles were not thrown away and other items were not cleaned up. The last night the housekeeping staff didn't leave any bottled water like they had the other days.

I’m usually not one to leave reviews but I purchased an extra package with our stay & front staff had no clue what to do. On top of that, during our stay we had found a live roach crawling on the wall near the bathroom. When confronted, the manager had said he already discounted us for the inconvenience/miscommunication about the package deal at the front desk and isn’t giving another discount. We never wanted nor asked we-ko-pa for a discount for the roach, we just wanted to let the front desk/staff know so they can exterminate and disinfect the rooms properly. A comment like that was unnecessary. Casino bar staff weren’t friendly either. Just an uncomfortable experience.

Literally, the worst slots I have ever experienced in my entire life. I have been all over the US and I have never seen such tight slot machines. I was here for approximately four hours playing. I was walking around and observing the depressive vibe of this casino. I was watching people continually feeding these machines and no one was winning. The slot machines at this casino are outdated, in ill repair, and so extremely slow. Also, I learned that at this particular casino you must be hand payed anything over $400. So, even if you were to win anything over that amount, you are going to be stuck, waiting for a slot tech to come pay you out, and reset the machine. It’s absolutely ludicrous and no other casino that I have ever been to does this. The rule of thumb everywhere else is that any win of $1200.00 or more is a handpay and there is a tax form generated. Do yourself a favor - skip this casino and save your money! Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

A very clean "resort" outside of Fountain Hills. Service was good, rooms were clean and spacious. Very quiet! The restaurant was quite slow and the stew I ate had a odd smell and the salmon smelled a bit fishy. Service at the restaurant at least with our waitress was so-so. She seemed to have an issue with either us for no reason or having a bad day. The casino floor was very clean, smoke-free, and not busy at the machines but the tables were hard to get on and bingo was quite busy for a Thursday evening. Some sort of convention going on there as well. Would stay again!Rooms: Clean and spaciousNearby activities: GolfWalkability: Nothing around for a few miles.

I was singled out 3/17/24 in am, inside casino, because of my service dog, who did nothing wrong BTW. THEY stopped me(why?), told me I had to go get a tag for him from security since I did not have him in his harness stating "service dog" on it. FWI: He legally does not have to wear it. Should not have been asked such a thing. I cooperated however, and the security grabs a tag and approached my service dog all sideways and my service dog gave him a warning as he is trained to do. Tell me WHY SECURITY FEELS IT TO BE APPROPRIATE TO TOUCH MY SERVICE ANIMAL and insist on putting the tag on him rather than me, the owne?. No, Absolutely not!! ITS My dog, my job. Step aside security. My service dog knew he was just really trying to bust my chops. I have PTSD, and also have narcolepsy (very severe narecolepsy), which makes me extremely vulnerable in public. I am also physically disabled as well and don't get around well. My dog is trained to react when someone is acting the fool, becoming aggressive, overstepping boundaries, getting to close, etc. He is also trained to protect me no matter what. He is trained to bark when he feels danger or sideways people are acting like my disability is amusing to them by making me do things that are not standard, and against my rights. My servicedog is trained to feel when I am made uncomfortable, stressed, scared, etc., and he is going to bark. WHY? IN CASE I FALL ASLEEP DUE TO A SLEEP ATTACK. HOW ELSE DO I REMAIN UNAFFLICTED OTHER THAN EXACLY WHAT I EXPLAINED. I NEED MY SERICE DOG TO ALERT ME LOUD AND CLEAR WHEN SOMEONE GETS TOO CLOSE AND ACTING DIFFERENT THAN THE NORM. IT IS VITAL TO MY SAFETY. SO, MAKING ME LEAVE BECAUSE MY SERVICE DOG REACTED TO YOUR DISPOSITION, SHOWS A LACK OF TRAINING AND IS AGAINST THE LAW. MY DOG IS ALLOWED TO BARK. IF I CANNOT CONTROL HIM OR QUIET HIM. THEN I CAN be ASKED TO LEAVE. BUT IF HE IS STILL BARKING BECAUSE SECURITY IS HAVING A GOOD TIME ACTING ALL COCKY AND LIKE I AM DOING SOMETHING WRONG, ITS ON YOU. AND YOU MAKING ME LEAVE IS THE UTMOST HORRIBLE SOURCE OF ENTERTAINMENT you find IS so AMUZING AND SATISFYING TO YOU, BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT THINKING CLEARLY.~ T•H•I•N•K ~Every one of you were wrong that day. My service dog did absolutely nothing at all to even warrant interaction from any one of you employees. We were minding our business and bothering NO ONE, but you all thought it important to bother the disabled girl. Educate yourselves. Next time, I won't be so nice. Don't discriminate!

My wife and I chose We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort for our 20th anniversary, and it exceeded expectations. The staff's thoughtful touches, like the handwritten note and chocolate-covered strawberries, were much appreciated. Our suite was exceptionally clean and well-appointed. The spacious layout, comfortable bed, and luxurious jetted tub were ideal.Dinner at Ember was a highlight. Our waiter, Jean, demonstrated expertise in his drink pairings, enhancing our dining experience. The cuisine was superb. We also had a successful night in the casino, winning over $1500. The floor staff was friendly and accommodating throughout.Overall, We-Ko-Pa provided a wonderful setting for our anniversary celebration. I would certainly recommend it to others.
