McDowell Mountain Regional Park offers a serene escape from city life. With a view of astonishing sunsets and numerous trails, it feels like a tranquil sanctuary. Whether I'm hiking or just having picnic with my family, every time spent there is precious.

Great running and riding trails!! Smooth with some gradual climbs, nothing difficult or technical. I have done so many running and biking races here and all of them were a lot of fun.

The gatekeeper was friendly and helped us decide which hiking trail was appropriate for us. We went on the 4 mile North Trail. It was remarkable. Various plants were marked along the trail. We used the app to track our progress. Saw our first roadrunner.Restrooms: Very clean and near parking.

Excellent trails for the seasoned mountain biker. Several lengths and an expert trail which is moderately difficult for the category A level racer. Trails are well marked, easy to follow, and one-way. Riding is fast and generally smooth with exception of the southern most portion of the long loop (very rocky). Very fun riding which reminds me why I love offroad riding.

This is a beautiful park. There are a number of amazing trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. If you are not familiar with the park, take a map and preferably someone who has been before. There are a lot of intersecting trails and it is easy to get lost. Weell worth the drive and admission fee, which is $7 per car.Restrooms: Nice, clean. Running water. Not just a hole in the ground.
