My dog is super nervous at the vet. Emily held him and calmed him immediately while Dr. Bashaw examined him. They were thorough and explained the pros and cons of everything. We have a Plan A and a Plan B. I feel confident in Sammy's treatment plans. The staff at the front desk were also friendly and efficient.

This veterinary practice is stellar! Dr. Bashaw is so kind, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The hospital is very clean and welcoming, and everyone who works there seems so happy! A special shout out to Emily who works closely with Dr. Bashaw with my cat. They have a way about them with her. She does not mind going there! A teeth cleaning was done, and honestly, I could not be happier with the way my cat and I were treated. I was kept updated, and the patient came home happy! Thank you to Dr. Bashaw and EVERYONE associated with her!!!! A++++++++++++++++++ and a million stars, too!!

Actually, my experience here happened several years ago. I had an incorrect diagnosis here from Dr. Bashaw, that resulted in my dog's death. I should have been directed to an emergency vet, but I was given a week worth of antibiotics from the veterinarian. I have spoken to quite a few residents of fountain hills, that had experienced either the same experience or regretted taking their pets here. I would definitely get a second opinion in your pets diagnosis if you go here.

I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received from Dr Maddox and his team this week. We arrived at 7.30am with no prior phone call as our senior cat was very sick, we were seen within 15 minutes, during the day observation and tests were carried out along with lengthy phone calls to keep us informed. When it was time to go in, Dr Maddox spent time with us again and afterwards very kindly and with so much care and consideration for both us and Luna, let her rest in peace for evermore. Thank you so much, you were all wonderful ❤️

I said I would not want my dog's teeth scaled with the sonic scaler as they're loud and can cause hearing loss and tinnitus (google it). The vet said they never had complaints about that. I said "Really? No dogs or cats came back and said 'I now have a horrible ringing in my ears'?" If there's hearing loss that isn't extreme or there's now ringing in the pet's ears how will people know? I have tinnitus and it's not fun. This is also how I know to avoid sonic scalers (the noise conducts through the teeth and jaw bone). Then the snarky, obnoxious tech smiled and said that they not only will use the sonic scaler, but also drill into the dog's bone to remove the teeth which is also really loud. She said this like a rebellious child. Great. thanks. Now I know where I will NEVER bring my dog. BTW, I know two vet techs who specialize in teeth cleaning and they both said that the sonic scaler CAN cause tinnitus and hearing loss in the pets and eventually in the people, which is why they hand scale. They referred me to another vet who got everything right, and very kindly spoke to me about my concerns. Also, I 'm disabled, can't drive myself, and live far away. So I asked them to make sure my appt. is with Dr. Bashaw, as it's re. my dog's teeth. We arrived to find it was NOT with Dr. Bashaw but another vet who said Dr. Bashaw would have to diagnose what's wrong with her teeth. Uh. Yeah.

Dr. Bashaw is great! This is the first vet I've worked with that was willing to spend time with me and my dog. Caring, professional and knowledgeable.

FIVE STAR VET! I am a full-time camper and have taken my cats to vets all over the country and have experienced many levels of expertise and care. After my elderly calico passed I adopted a young ginger cat with multiple and complex congenital and trauma issues. He had been seen by multiple vets. However, I had developed a fear of hurting him when patting or lifting him and needed advice that included long-term prognosis and care! I made an appointment with Dr. Bashaw and provided x-rays ahead of time. Dr. Bashaw had analyzed the x-rays before our arrival and one by one addressed each of his multiple issues. When he showed signs of stress she showed him he could hide behind the computer monitor while she continued to explain all his issues. I left with much needed information and an un-stressed cat. I was impressed with her knowledge, her compassion for Piper and her understanding of my concerns. And finally, from past visits I can vouch for their expertise in providing care for cats from the moment you walk in the door.

Dr. Bashaw, Emily and the whole team were absolutely amazing. We brought our 18+ year old little girl, Cinnamon in as she had quit eating and drinking a few days prior. They were sincere, compassionate and extremely gentle with us during a difficult time. Cinnamon was telling us it was time to say goodbye and they helped us through the emotional process. We are so grateful for their kind and caring souls. We highly recommend ❤️

Excellent animal hospital and vet. My dog wasn’t eating and we suspected she ate something. They got us in same day. Adam did X-rays and suspected she has a foreign object in intestine. Adam went over options and we agreed that surgery was best option. He did it same day and sure enough she ate a sock. She is fully recovered now. So happy we have an excellent vet here in town. Highly recommended.

We have been going to El Dorado for the past 4 years. I can tell you it is EXCELLENT. The vets, Dr. Sarah and Marshall are knowledgable and spend the time with you to understand your issue(s) and provide feedback. The front desk is awesome. Special thanks to Becca for her professionalism and follow ups. It is greatly appreciated. We drive more than 30 minutes to use El Dorado and if you are in need of a vet clinic, I would urge you to try El Dorado Animan Hospital. You will be as pleased and we are.

Can't say enough great things about the Dr's and staff. Had a dental done at another vet, and of course trusted it was done correctly. A problem continued with a tooth, and brought pup in for a dental at El Dorado. Through x-rays they were able to find and correct multiple underlying issues, that the other vet missed. My dog was recently bit by a rattlesnake, and they immediately took him and treated him, and literally saved his life. I'm in the pet industry and have owned all types of animals, and I wouldn't go to any other vet.

El Dorado Animal Hospital was the best choice I could have made. I've called a few places here in fountain hills and they were either unpleasant or couldn't help my fur baby with his problem cause of his Proto- plasma disorder. With his disorder it caused his dewclaws to get thick and my husband was not comfortable cutting them himself. When I called to make the appointment they were super super nice over the phone. It was very welcoming!! They were able to get him in around our schedules. When we took him in we were greeting instantly. It was like 2 minutes and my fur baby was going back. They were able to clip both dewclaws. There was a little blood but thankfully no stitches. Zek is back home and acts like nothing every happened.
