After a $2000 increase in my home insurance in one year?, I tried to have a conversation with this Scott at the Farmers agency that bills itself as a small, easy to deal with, personalized agency. This couldn't be further from the truth, unfortunately. With my phone calls (~2-3 messages left) not returned I decided to not renew and secured new insurance (at about a $2000 savings) starting after expiration of my policies with Scott @ Farmers. Thinking all is ended and after I moved on to another company, about 3 months later, I received a $62 collection agency notice in the mail demanding payment! I had to spend my time, send my new declarations page, etc. showing I had new coverage or they would still charge me for not renewing my policy! Evidently, Scott Schlossberg @ Farmers Insurance is allowed to ignore my phone calls, however, the customer needs to notify them if they decide not to renew their policies past their expiration dates! Stay away from this agency, would be my recommendation.

This agency keeps on getting WORSE! Today, I received a collection notice of $62.00 from a Collection Agency for Farmers Ins. - Scott Schlossberg! I owe NOTHING and prepay my yearly policies in advance for the year. Because of this agency's incompetence, I chose not to renew etc. I'm with another insurance agency and today, I received a collection notice for $62.00?? I can't correct this with the collection agency and the farmers agency "will get back to me". Today I reported this agency to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. This is a terrible place to do business.....

After waiting 18 days for the final policy from a different Insurance company, I called Scott for my client. We would have missed closing on time for their new home because we could not get evidence of insurance from the other company. Scott had a policy done up and to me within two hours and we closed on time. His policy was also $400 less than the previously quoted premium. I thank you and my client thanks you. I will be recommending Scott to my clients in the future.

I used Scott's agency for a year for auto insurance and renter's insurance. Things were fine. I made 2 bi-annual payments from different accounts, then toward the end of April, I sent an email to advise we would not be renewing the auto policy due to our move back to the midwest. Thought all was good. On the day we were closing on our new home, I see a pending debit to one of our accounts for a large sum from Bristol West. Come to find out Scott's agency was trying to pull for a 6 month renewal without advisement or authorization. The closing for the house took the majority of our funds from that account and their debit was denied. I advised the agency via email they shouldn't be trying to pull for a policy renewal which was explicitly cancelled and was not authorized. I was given assurances it would be taken care of and the bank fee of $30 would be refunded.I checked on my account today and found they made a 2nd attempt to pull the same amount and it was successful, for the funds were there. Now I have the problem of 2 other payments for bills are going to bounce since they basically cleaned out my account.I left a voice mail at the agency and did not hear back for several hours. I finally get an email response saying they will mail a refund check.One would think the agency or the insurance provider would be willing to transfer the funds back in immediately to correct their mistake. I thought so, but I thought wrong.I called the insurance provider to ask them to put the money back in our account. I was told it was their policy to mail a refund. I asked if it were their policy to grab money out of a person's account for an insurance policy which was cancelled a few days before they pulled the money?Very disappointed on the unauthorized money pull and the lack of customer service care.

From the beginning of my process of a review, to a quote, to signing up and eventually switching my homeowners and vehicles, everything has been smooth and flawless. RUN as fast as you can from doing business here! If I can prevent even one person from dealing with the nightmare that I experienced when doing business with Scott and Farmers Insurance, it will be worth the review. I chose Scott initially because I was offered better rates and good customer service. In the beginning, I was very satisfied. That all changed when I performed an audit of my Farmers charges and discovered I was erroneously charged over 10,000 dollars on one of my policies. It took several months to receive a partial refund, several hours and a lot of broken promises of when my refund check would arrive. I was still never refunded the full amount they stole from my account. Today, I am receiving harassing emails from Farmers debt collectors for failure to pay workman's compensation insurance. That never happened, I cancelled policies in writing and changed to another company. Even after canceling my policies, Farmers still charged me. I had to put a stop payment with my bank on all my policies because they wouldn't stop charging me. This has been the absolute worst experience I've had with any insurance company or any company for that matter. I absolutely do not take negative reviews lightly. I simply do not go out of my way to cause damage to people and their reputation but please do proceed in a different direction. I will be filing multiple complaints and I have to hire an attorney to deal with this mess. I just wanted a few insurance policies, like everybody else. Nobody should have to deal with this kind of headache for buying insurance. Farmers Insurance is reprehensible and Scott be ashamed for allowing his clients to deal with this kind of turmoil.

Scott has always been a great supporter of our community, and a successful business man, so when the opportunity arise to review our insurance policies we naturally thought of him as our first stop.
