I really appreciate this place. We moved from NH and the costs there are extremely high (for some reason) for veterinary care and several vets that we went too overprescribed/over paneled/over vaccinated/EVERYTHING. I was really concerned after adopting my own dog this spring about vet care. I have seen Dr. Juetten a few times and she has had opportunities to “rip me off” as my family frequently experienced out east. She’s been nothing but conservative and I can tell she really loves and cares about animals. Everyone that works the front desk is super friendly. They got me in today short-notice when I was in a panic about some growths on my dog. Dr. Juetten could’ve sent away for labs, biopsies, etc “just to make sure” but she assured me they were completely benign while she could have really taken that and run with it. I really trust this clinic with my dog and would recommend them to friends and family.

The front desk employees are very nice. The issue is the vets do NOT tell you when your dog is being looked at how much it will COST. Brought my dog in recently, as he had eaten something off the grass & wasn’t feeling well, however, he was still running around normally & doing all his normal activities , but I was concerned , as he wasn’t eating as much & no stool in 2 days, the final tab, we were there 40 minutes $868, ARE YOU KIDDING ME..we’re getting another vet & Btw, friends of ours left that vet recently for a similar reason & then just this week we heard another negative story about this vet from a professional animal person we’ve known for years & respect .

I had the best experience ever with Palisades Veterinary Clinic. My little baby, Meph, went there for cat boarding over a week. I was concerned as it was his first time boarding. When I arrived, the staff was the nicest ever. Meph is a French cat, and has a French passport. The staff took time to help me and check all the translations for the vaccines, as some of them do not have the same names. Then, they even offered complementary exams, if I wanted to, while Meph stayed there. I was highly surprised by their level of professionalism. When I picked up my cat, after a week, I was a bit afraid as he is very sensitive to stress. But I found a very healthy Meph, who was completely comfortable as soon as we got home. Under stress, he gets a lot of dandruff, and this time there was none. I highly recommend Palisades clinic. My best experience with veterinarian services.

If I could give them a zero, I would. Total disregard for a safe environment. One of my family members has been immune suppressed. When I was checking in my dogs, I asked Technician 1, "My son is immune suppressed, is anyone sick here?" Her reply was "No, everyone is fine."Technician 2 takes the dogs into the room. I asked "My son is immune suppressed, is anyone sick here?" She said, "No, no one is sick." "Someone had something awhile ago, but no one else got it."Technician 3 starts taking the history of the dogs and I ask, "My son is immune suppressed, I can't be around anyone who is sick.is anyone sick here?" She said "No one is sick."Vet comes in wearing mask and gloves and I'm like, "Oh great, she's trying to be supportive." I said, "I can't be around anyone sick, my son is immune suppressed, he got a kidney transplant." She said "Oh, that's quite an accomplishment." Then she starts to check the dogs. Half way through, I notice that she sounds hoarse. I ask her, "Are you sick?" She said, "Yes, I'm at the tail end of being ill."After darting out of the room, I lost it and started screaming at the people at the front desk. Why couldn't they just reschedule the appointment? If they can't listen to a simple request like this, I wouldn't trust them to listen to you at all with concerns about your pets.

My dog was injured in a fight at the local dog park in town. Nothing too serious but he was bleeding and needed to be looked at. I was able to call Palisades and be seen immediately as soon as I was able to drive to the clinic. The staff was very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend to any pet owners.

I do have to say that I think it was a mistake for me to leave Palisades veterinarian hospital. I briefly went to another veterinarian in Fountain Hills and wound up being very disappointed. I decided to go back to Palisades and was extremely happy with the care my pet received as well as the price.

My fav vet ever ! I have 3 cats and this is the only vet I take them too. The doctor and staff are fantastic, everyone who works here is super friendly and helpful. I needed a last minute appointment and they were able to fit me in just in time ! Take your animals here and they will receive excellent care ! Would give 10 stars if I could !

Wonderful experience with Palisades Veterinary Hospital. Twicethis past year when my pups were in urgent situations, Palisades Veterinary Hospital was able to make an appointment the same day, they always made time. The entire staff is helpful and kind. Dr. Hessian is incredible. She is thoughtful, gets to the issue and solves the problem. Today she even made time to see my brother’s 17-year-old min-pin, who had not been her patient previously. He sustained a spinal injury and his own vet service didn’t have time to address the issue. I started with Dr. Hessian and Palisades 18 years ago. I moved to Mesa from Fountain Hills and changed vets for convenience. After several bad experiences, I came back, and I will never leave again. It is worth the extra 30-minute drive to have my pups cared for by the best. Highly recommend!

Been going here for a few years now since moving to fountain hills. Everyone is excellent! Front end staff is attentive, the doctors and tech’s all care very much! We just recently had to say goodbye to one of our pets, the staff cared so much about how it effected us and gave us ample time to say goodbye. Easily the best vet we’ve ever had!

The vet is great but a lot of the staff are new & they're still getting used to the clinic & seem a bit frazzled. Even so, they're all really great with our pet, even though he can be difficult, & working to get him in with our schedules.

We have been using Dr Hessin for the past three years and she's a excellent Vet and always takes her time with Hunter! She's come in early to see him and takes time to follow up. We wouldn't consider any other place to care for our sweet boy.

Poor communication by Doctor. Spend a lot of money on testing but never get results u less you make another appointment Support staff is very friendly and place is clean. Just very disappointed with the lack of communication even after I complained to them.

Loved this vet, including doctors, techs, and front desk staff, but they have nickeled and dimed too many times lately. I paid for three exams in a 60 day period when only one was needed. After the first, had to go out of town for a few weeks. Followed up on an issue with an excellent vet in that state, who determined based on bloodwork, record of which I had sent to Palisades, that my dog needed weekly fluids and a bloodwork recheck in a number of weeks. Upon return to AZ, I made an appointment to get fluids and another to get blood panel. I was clear about what was needed but was charged for an exam both times. The second time, I was told by the office manager that I "asked a question" so the vet entered the room to answer it. However, I only made a statement about something I suspected. I did not ask a question. Then, after paying for the exam and bloodwork, and asking for a refund for the exam but receiving none, I got no explain of the bloodwork by the doctor. Not sure what I received for that exam charge. Will not go back, sadly. I loved this vet but the office manager did not offer a refund. I cannot pay for four exams when only one or two (the second at the vet in the other state) are needed. They've made quite a bit off me and my elderly dog, but apparently not enough to care that I'll be going elsewhere now.
