the "manager" that looks like a 12 year old girl who found his mommy's makeup needs to get his ego in check. This guy should be managing his attitude rather than a grocery store. what a douche.

Safety hazard all over the place and they also wrongfully terminated me, and I was verbally harassed and bullied and sexually harassed as well, and they feel they can get away with it because I am a man and I am African-American!

We asked one of the employees and a manager to help us find an item. They both said it should be by the dairy and if it wasn't there they just don't have it. Didn't offer to come help us look in case we were looking in the wrong isle.

Clean store and usually has what I need. Self checkout makes things nice and quick. Luckily the elderly fools in town don't use that service as they have no idea what is going on in their world let alone how to use a self checkout. Bonus.

Today was by far the worst experience at this store. The flower department ladies are charging random prices for "their time" with no listed prices around. Food here is considerably higher then sprouts and any market now. Their staff don't even look at their produce to make sure its not rotten so you get home to discover your food is bad. I purchased an organic cauliflower which after removing the plastic you could see the rotten brown spots on it. For the prices and horrible service I will be driving to sprouts moving forward.

Buyer Beware! I am writing this review to caution Safeway shoppers to be aware that even after you enter your Safeway club membership number or your loyalty phone number at the cashier, this does not ensure that all the discounts for the items in your purchase are accounted for. This problem has consistently happened to me where I only buy items that are discounted and some of the discounts are totally ignored by the cash register. I encourage buyers to add in their mind approximately what they have purchased to make sure they don't end up paying more than necessary. Take with you the Safeway ad that arrived in your mail because apparently the cashiers don't feel compelled to tell you their is a coupon for your item! Buyer Beware!

Tom the beverage steward really knows his stuff, is helpful and is the highlight of our visits to Safeway. The best beverage department in all three of Fountain Hills' grocery stores.

Bought my Mother Shiraz here. Well I think they have an excellent liquor selection. It is just extremely hard to find certain types of wine; ie: Shiraz. Like the Shiraz is almost never stocked they really need to start carrying more Shiraz, or put it in a more findable spot…

Good God to the yelp reviewer Velicia R Thanks Safeway for providing customer service from early am to late pm. I am grateful for the employees that work tirelessly ~mentally~ so I can put food on my table at the convenience of a 5 min drive from my house. Clean and bright store. Lived in FH for 6 years and have never had a negative experience here. Good place to purchase a Tonto Park pass before your salt river trip!

I've been shopping here for 20 years, and have been disappointed lately with the experiences that I've been having at this Safeway. Today, for example, the deli would not be open until 8AM. The checkstands would not be open until 7AM. The produce looked like --excuse me--crap. Onions and melons that I would be afraid to purchase. Bread shelves were all but bare, and the person stocking the shelves had boxes of bread all over the floor. This is while the store should be open for shopping. I have had multiple instances of shelves being stocked while the carts full of items were blocking the aisle, and the stocker unconcerned about allowing browsing for needed items and passage for shoppers. This used to be a reliable place to shop. If the store is not fully functional until 9AM, OPEN AT 9AM AND STOP WASTING MY TIME!
