Want to shop local, but... Drove 25 miles because they had an EGO chainsaw in stock and said they gave a military discount. Bought the item, and did not receive the discount. I questioned this, and the clerk simply said, 'Sorry, but some products do not get discounted.' She offered to have the manager come talk to us, but the manager didn't seem to want to come out. She showed up 10 minutes later, apologized, and said she couldn't help. We returned the item and bought it 15 minutes later at Lowe's with the military discount. Shame on the owner for advertising a military discount to appear generous, but only offering it on low-ticket items. We also called another local ACE, and they assured us that they give the discount on EGO products - shame on this Gilbert franchise owner.

What a joke this store is. Ask some heavy set, poor hygiene dude wearing shorts with boots and a somewhat of a handle bar mustache for assistance and his reply with attitude was when I'm finished. All he was doing was breaking down a boxes. Then shortly after some man came up to me and asked if I needed help and I replied yes. I was looking for a spacer for my truck door roller. I asked him if he could look at my door for my truck was 20 ft away at front door and he said no. His help was worthless. Then upon checking out, the old lady cashier was rude and nasty and all she did was complain to me about the owner who never let's the front doors close while ac is running. Prior to check out some old man employee was helping a customer with a battery powered mower that he just bought and was not working and wanted to return it and the way the employee was treating customer almost had me wanting to intervene for he was so rude to customer. This store is horrible and will never return. Avoid this place at all cost. They don't deserve the communities support.

The two employees who helped us were awesome. We needed a little fix on my husbands walker and two of them figured it out it was a bit tricky but they did with a smile. The guy who checked us out was great to. I think they need a sign to say “We Work on Walkers!”

I have spent hundreds of dollars at this location on various products. The manager refused to honor the sale price of this tag for this hose ($37.99) when this hose kept ringing up at $44.99. We had another handful of items to purchase, which would have been over $100 in total, but instead we walked out spending no money at this location. Also... We won't be back to spend any more money at this location. I wonder how the owner feels about that. This $7.00 mistake will cost them hundreds of dollars due to poor customer service. I will absolutely contact the Department of Weights and Measures on Monday. Note: the sale price is valid through July 31, today is July 19.
UPDATE: 30 minutes later we left another Ace Hardware that honored the sale price as posted on the hose display. Total sale dollars out the door: $118.39

I had to call three times to get assistance. On the first two calls, a female employee placed me on hold and then disconnected the call both times without explanation. This level of disregard for customers is unacceptable. On my third attempt, I finally reached a male employee who was courteous and helpful, which is the only reason I gave an extra star. However, I will not be giving this location my business. If a business can’t manage something as basic as answering the phone professionally, it reflects poorly on the entire operation.

This Ace Hardware has everything you would ever want or need, including the friendly and helpful employees. They have helped me with many hard to find items. The store manager , September goes above and beyond to insure customer satisfaction.
I am so lucky to have this store near me.

Went there for “another” front door key to be made. Have had all my keys made there. Ended up going three times in one day because each time the key didn’t work. On the third time I had spoken to the manager, Zack. He stated to bring the key in and he would do it personally, that he had the most experienced. Well, when he got to me it seemed he was a little distraught. Maybe in a rush. Well that third key didn’t work either. I know it will be said “it’s probably my front door deadbolt that is the problem!” NO! All other keys made there STILL work fine with no problems, I made sure of that! It was a pretty frustrating time. Gas is not free! Three trips somewhere comes out of my pocket when a place of business doesn’t get something right! The gentleman that did my second key asked what happened and was told by Zack that a part of the key was too thick. Telling me, it wasn’t done right the second time. When I received the third key from my THIRD time there, I uttered to Zack I hoped this was the last time, meaning….coming back for the key issue. He then replied….if so just don’t come back for that! I was about to turn around and say something! I was already frustrated with the times I had to return. I’m 62 years old, handicapped and still felt tension with this situation, like I was doing something wrong. We also do have a back door that we NEVER use. I tried all other keys there also, they all worked fine. All made from this same Ace. I usually don’t complain or do this but it was very frustrating to have to travel there three times.

Worst Ace ever....I USUALLY go to ACE for help...don't go to this location. Store was empty of customers and I asked for help with one of their EGO line trimmers...had to go reask for help then they sent someone who knew nothing...she called on another employee who was not with a customer who suggested no one really knew anything...this one is not your helpful friendly hardware store...I will go to someone else's neighborhood vs go back terrible.
