Went to this store this morning to get supplies for my job today. I have always had a great experience with the Ace on Gilbert Rd and Chandler Heights. They are super friendly there and always asking if I need something. Here that is not case at all. Walked in nobody even noticed or said hello this morning. I asked where the restroom was and the guy was saying they don't have restrooms that are open. Seemed pretty annoyed that I even asked where it was. I would highly recommend going to another Ace or even a Home Depot to get your supplies.

I had a horrible experience with this Ace Hardware. On 9/05/23, after trying to start it (it wouldn't start), I dropped off my 22 year old Stihl HS-45 hedge trimmer. I explained to the employee that it had been run in years, but I wanted to get it running again. I asked them to call before making repairs. On 9/29/23, I received a call saying it was ready to be picked up. I picked it up and paid $47.03. After returning home, I tried to start it. Not only wouldn't it start, the throttle trigger was "gummy", so back I went to the store that same day. Why would they "return" a non-functioning trimmer? This time, they kept it until 10/25/23 when I received a call saying it was ready to be picked up. When I arrived at the store, I asked to speak to the owner who happened to be there. He tried to avoid speaking to me, but I insisted. I asked him why it had been returned in a completely non-functional state and why it had taken so long. The owner had no explanation for the fact it wouldn't run and blamed the delay on the difficulty of getting Stihl parts. After paying $138.23, I asked the owner to have someone start it.This is where it got comical. The owner tried starting it for 8 to 10 minutes and when it finally started, the trimmer blades were seized. He then used a tool from his pocket to break the trimmer blades loose, which helped a little, but the blades seized again after a minute or two. Without saying much, he handed the trimmer to me.I told him, it was clear that it needed more work, but I had no intention of allowing this shop to work on it anymore. I told him that I was going to write this review and his only comment was, "Be sure to write that the trimmer is 22 years old." I replied, "It's a Stihl!"I asked for some of my money back and he refused. As a result, I disputed the credit card charges. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful, but the owner has no concept of customer service which causes a few of his employees to follow his example.I'll never go back in this store again. I'm guessing he'll write a cranky response and blame the whole thing on me. That's just the kind of guy he is.

Need more Yeti cups. Like the camo one. The kid at the front was telling me an ice pack would work in the Tundra 40 but, it wouldn't it was too small. I hate went people give you the wrong advice.

Went there to get a lawn mower blade sharpen. The young man that does it was busy doing another job but took the time (5 minutes) to take care of me. That's customer service at it's finest. Chatted with the manager who was near by doing another job, he was pleasant as well..

Great store. Convenient location. Incredibly helpful staff and management. Thanks for making exchanges easy, for helping me get my selections right and in transferring my account from Colorado.

Great customer service + always find what I need. I’ve been coming to this location ever since “Dave’s” Ace on Power and McDowell refused to refund me a small inexpensive tool set that didn’t do the job (by the actual owner). This location I was guaranteed by several workers that if I ever bought something and that ever happened I could simply return without question. Thankfully that hasn’t been the case but it’s always nice to know not all Ace’s operate with lack of simple customer service like Dave’s Ace on Power & McDowell

Needed a few random things to help my son and his family move into a new house. The staff was available at each turn to assist us in finding the right items. Great service and friendly checkout. Second great experience here, same as last year when he moved to AZ.
