Interesting store, for my first visit. ? Shopping carts, require a quarter that is refunded once the cart is returned, that was a new experience. Produce looked amazing and was a great price.
Overall the store was clean, small with great prices.
Another 1st is there are NO GROCERY BAGS ( no paper or plastic) luckily I had Trader Joe's bags in my car!
Overall I will definitely return.

I love shopping here but the staff is almost always rude. Today we had a nice gentleman but there's a dark haired woman who is always incredibly rude. Today she yelled at my kids. I try to avoid her line but she's always there. I understand people not liking their job but don't take it out on customers ?

First time at an Aldi.
I've seen many posts about Aldi stores, and saw that I needed to bring a quarter and my own bags, so I did. I thought I was prepared. All was fine until I went to check out, I had guessed that I needed to go to the end of the conveyor belt and bag my own groceries, as I usually do at Safeway. I was wrong.
The cashier was just chucking the groceries as hard as she could into the cart while I was trying to bag, just tossing everything like she was throwing rocks. Tossing cans from 1-2 feet away onto my produce and on top of my hands as I tried to bag. She looked furious and I didn't understand what the hell was going on, I tried my best to bag, and then she finished, I looked up, and ONLY THEN did I see a counter with other shoppers bagging their groceries to the side.
I felt like a dumbass, but I had no idea this was the protocol. Instead of letting me know, the cashier just raged out. Well, now I know. This is a good tip to share with first time Aldi shoppers besides just the quarter and bag thing.
I understand certain things can really annoy cashiers. I'm very familiar with grocery stores, my husband and I both work for them. My husband runs a Safeway. I guess I'm just wondering why the cashier chose to rage instead of letting me know what to do! Lol It was a crazy experience.
It was a crappy experience, the produce wasn't very fresh. The Roman tomatoes looked like they were about to expire. And the prices aren't worth being treated rudely. The ground beef was like $5.99 a lb, which is crazy. As someone who has worked in customer service their entire life, I despise rude cashiers and won't be back ever. I was there Sunday afternoon, the 6th of October, there were 2 cashiers, a smiling young man and the monster lady who checked us out.

I've become an Aldi addict. I love the Aldi Finds, but there isn't a lot of each product, so you have to go by Thursday to get a decent
selection.

Good as usual as normal, small store but has most of you need, huge parking lots ever

Good quality products at reasonable prices! Remember to bring a bag with you! Still don't understand the carts needing a quarter. Hopefully I will figure this out on my next trip!

Aldi’s is the place to go???? it’s the best place to get what you need at a great price. Employees are the nicest & it’s truly never busy. Never had a bad experience there!! I wish they carried more vegan options such as butter then I wouldn’t have to go anywhere else to shop.

Really like the bags without handles. They go great with my car without tires and my apartment without a roof.
Review edit: the produce i bought had literal mold on it. Aldi is trash. It's like 25% of what Frys is just go there.
