Craig has been managing my complicated tax returns the last few years. His services are top notch and extremely thorough - I think he's seen everything. I have worked with Craig and his staff for three years. They file two personal tax returns and one business tax return for me. They also process our payroll. I am very satisfied with their service. They always answer the phone and handle matters quickly. I recommend them highly.

Craig Elggren & his staff are outstanding. First, they’re knowledgeable, professional and most importantly, caring.In the years Craig ( and Vidya Ramachandran) have done my taxes my questions either email or phone call has been handled promptly.I also receive email communications throughout the year keeping me informed on tax changes. Unfortunately, working with Craig was one of the worst experiences we’ve had. He operates unprofessionally with a severe lack of communication, accountability and general respect for time. We had one issue after another with our (basic) tax return and still haven’t gotten it sorted out 9 months later. I cannot and would not recommend him.

I’ve been working with Craig for the last 3 years now with my very complex businesses. It has been nothing but amazing customer service. They treat you there if you were family.. Very patient and completely understanding and always in my best interest.

If it were possible to give negative stars I sure as hell would. A completely incompetent team that clearly fails to communicate within its own practice. Tried to file a simple tax return and they managed to screw it up so bad I had to contact the IRS directly. How on earth they've managed to pass as professionals is truly astonishing. I will never pay that much for incompetence again I can't believe I let them swindle me in the first place. It should never take 6 months to get a tax return and the fact that it will is truly embarrassing for you maybe try harder next time.

I wouldn't recommend. Craig seems like a nice guy and I'm sure he knows what he's doing. I don't know if he took on too much work or what, but he had different people working on our tax return. I, personally, noticed a mistake or two on my return (not an expert but I was right). They were not friendly at all, almost hostile. I had to reach out multiple times to see if they needed anything else. There was also a lot of miscommunication between the employees, and nobody ever seemed to know exactly what was going on with our return. Finally they filed our returns. After a few weeks, the IRS contacted us that the return was done incorrectly and we owed another over $1,000. Then today, the AZ Department of Revenue sent a bill for over $100 because it was filed late. And this is the service I got for $550? Definitely not worth it.

Used to be good, not anymore.Before my tax was filed: found mistakes that should not have made to the tax documents to begin with.After my tax was filed: I owed tax to the state so I wanted to confirm if it will be direct debited from my bank account. Had to email 4 times before finally getting a response, which basically said that they made a mistake so I have to pay the tax online. Disappointed with the service.
