First experience with Data DR's as I have been blessed with few issues. This laptop issue I could not handle. They fixed that puppy in 2 days. Diagnostic fee refuended with repair. VERY reasonable price with outstanding service. Tanner & Nathan were both exceptional. They didn't know me from Adam but treated me like family (the good kind).

Brought laptop in for repair on what appeared to be a needed battery replacement. Was told that the battery did need to be replaced, but that larger issue was viruses and malware that was disrupting the operating system. Quoted over $300 for repair, including one year of their “proprietary” anti-virus software. Asked about the repair without the software, and was told the repair would be the same cost.
Took the laptop for a second opinion. There was never a diagnosis of malware/viruses, and cost to repair was over $150 less.
Appears to be a manipulation to sell anti-virus software. Will not use this business again.

The service on my computer at store 240 was excellent. Ryan was the tech and he was friendly, respectful and efficient. He listened to my concerns, he is very knowledgeable, and my computer was ready when he said it would be. Thank you Ryan.

Steer clear unless you want to be charged for someone else’s subscription
I used this data doctors to have my pc built and had in general a great experience with the staff but a couple days ago I called to update some banking info and found out I’d been getting charged 50 extra dollars for my subscription every month for the last year and a half. I explained what was happening over the phone to the manager at this location and he laughed at me, said there was no way it was actually happening, and then said it was stupid to cancel my subscription. I then called the corporate number where a woman agent said about the same thing and then hung up on me. I charged back the charges with my bank and 3 days later I get a call from a corporate Data doctor employee apologizing and they tell me my card was somehow linked to another customers account and I’ve been paying his subscription for TWO YEARS.
What’s even better is now they wont even wipe my information so it’s just a gamble on who’s account they’re gonna throw my payment info on next.
Don’t make the mistake I did and give this company your info or money

I needed a specific part replaced and they could not source the part. They still charged me the $60 diagnostic fee even though they did nothing except tell me they could not find the part

I came here because I purchased a new laptop that had stopped working after a handful of times. I was charged roughly $80 to get a diagnostic of “McCafee was colliding with the sleep settings.” A easy fix right? They said if I signed up for their membership (another $120) they could fix the issue. When I expressed I just needed the antivirus uninstalled they denied helping me if I did not commit to their yearly service. Very, very disappointing experience and will not recommend nor visit again. Not to mention, they said it was working and as soon as I got home it still was not.
