I went to the San Tan Mall Dillards to return 2 pairs of shoes that we had bought for our daughters. When I gave the shoes to the woman at the counter she looked at the bottom and said she saw some dirt on the soles of the shoes so she couldn't return them. I told her the shoes had only been worn in the store and in our house when the girls tried them on with their dresses, but she continued to tell me I couldn't return them. She then informed me that she had in fact sold the shoes to my wife and daughters and told my wife at the time they couldn't wear the shoes outside. I told her the shoes were never worn outside. They had been purchased Friday night and I tried to return them Saturday afternoon but I didn't have my wife's debit card and couldn't complete the return. She responded, "I wasn't hear on Friday but I sold these shoes to the lady". I showed her the receipt with the date and time of purchase (Friday at 4pm). I then showed her pictures of my daughters at their dance wearing shoes that were not the shoes I was returning. She then called a manager telling him, that the shoes were worn and repeating the lie that she sold them to my wife and sent me across the store to the manager because he couldn't be bothered to walk over to help. When I got to the manager he barely looked or spoke to me, and he acted like I was a giant inconvenience. He checked the shoes and did eventually grant me my request for a return. I said thank you to him to which he didn't reply and I left. I called my wife on the way home and confirmed that the girl who sold her the shoes was a young girl, late teens or early 20's, not the woman in her late 50's or early 60's who claimed she sold the shoes. I also found out that one of the pairs of shoes was the floor model (probably why they were dirty on the bottom). Needless to say I was unimpressed with the customer service I received and the fact that I was being called a liar to my face when I said the shoes had never been worn outside.

The girl who helped me at the Clinique counter was very polite and extremely helpful. Such a pleasant visit. Thank you I will be back to give more of my business

Always quality and fair pricing, unlike some stoes that mark up and always have a sale. Yes, Dillards has sales, but typically only at a season's end. Also, usually friendly staff and store neat and orderly.

I went in to Customer Service to ask about shoes my son received for Christmas. She was very rude. It was like I was bothering her for asking. He wore his Uggs twice and they got holes in them. She referred me to the shoe department. The sales lady was amazing but had to get approval from her manager. The manager didn't exchange the shoes due to the damage and was very rude. I don't recommend this Dillards or buying Uggs.

Today in women's shoes, Rose was taking care of so many people at once...it was so impressive. Noticed, the young, male manager didn't help her, or customers, at all.

Went in one day to buy a pair of Oakleys during a promo. No one was running the sunglasses booth, no other employees would help me locate someone. I went back the next day and the promo was done. I asked if they’d honor it being no one was at the booth the day before. Said no. Thanks Jessica!!!! Won’t shop here anymore and I am 100% cancelling my credit card with Dillard’s. If I wanted mediocrity I’d go to Walmart.
Edit/update: I did go back! Manager Neil said he’d help me out to avoid having the deal with the woman who originally refused to honor the discount even tho she wasn’t at her booth. That didn’t happen. I had to deal with her anyway! She put the sunglasses LENSES DOWN on the counter top. Love that.

Horrible customer service in the kids shoe dept. Employee did not know how to order on line. Spent 20mins ordering 1 pair of shoes. Manager of floor was paged and never showed up.

I don’t get why don’t they clean their fitting rooms, every time I go there it’s always dusty and filthy!!! At least clean them so your dresses don’t get dirty when people try them on!!!!
