Discovery District Park is a large park with so much room and so much to do. It is a great place to take the whole family. It has large areas for kids' sports, including ball fields, basketball courts, and a football field. The kids' playground is very nice with newer equipment, featuring a large main play structure, climbing rocks, and fun climbing features. The park is very clean with clean, handicap-accessible bathrooms located close to the playground. There are trails around the ponds which are great for spotting birds, though the pond sometimes smells bad. It is a beautiful, simple park that feels safe and is a good spot or party spot. Some note a wish for more benches near the playground.
