I’ve never had to write a review before but this location is just the worst. The employees have such a bad attitude and they don’t even greet you. Nick, the guy who was helping me out with my return has an ugly attitude all the time he doesn’t even try to be friendly. I ignored it and said have a great day and got no response from him as I supposed. And he seems to always be like that the times I go. I’d rather drive further to a different location then to keep coming here

I shop at Forever 21 frequently and have worked in retail for 6+ years, 2 of those in management. This location is absolutely awful. I purchased items that went on sale 2 days later so I went to return the items I purchased full-price (with tags all attached) and the manager would not let me return them on the full price receipt and said they would have to use the receipt that I purchased the items on sale. I went to another location and they accepted the return no problem. The manager I spoke with at the SanTan location (Nicholas) was also EXTREMELY rude, he has a major attitude problem. I copped an attitude back to be fair but he gave me attitude & denied my return with no reference to any policy so it seemed he just did not want to deal with a major return an hour before close. Some other reviews mentioned managerial issues at this location and I second those reviews — I will stay away from this Forever 21 location and go elsewhere where they have better attitudes and don’t mind helping (aka good customer service skills)

*Update*I called the store today and spoke with Nick, the manager on duty. I told him my problem and I asked him if he could hold my items until I could get there this weekend. He said yes and that he would be there this weekend as well. I asked him about the hours and he told me that they had been trying to change it because the whole mall closes at 8 Monday through Thursday but Google has not updated it. So this is not a Forever 21 issue, it's a Google issue. Come on Google get it together. People rely on these websites for accurate information.I placed an online order about a week and a half ago and the store that had my item in stock was a little ways away but I didn't mind driving because I really wanted that item. So I've been trying to get over there all week long and tonight I just happened to be in the neighborhood. I do Doordash so I stopped working so I could make it over to the store before they closed. The store closes at 9:00 p.m. according to the website. I got there at 8:40 pm and they were closed. Apparently they close at 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. I don't have to tell you that I was a little bit upset. And by upset I mean I am really pissed right now. Not only did I lose money because I stopped working in order to get there at what I thought was closing time. Now I have to waste more damn gas to go down there and pick up my item.Somebody might want to adjust the online hours to reflect the actual hours. So somebody else doesn't have this freaking issue.

It looks like they had some minor overstocking issues with boxes in the shopping spaces but other than that it was exactly as you'd expect.

I feel I am a very fair person at heart, but this location continues to let me down. To start, the managers are just awful. On one occasion, I arrived at the store when it had just opened and tried on several items to purchase, about $200 worth of merchandise. I went to checkout and the manager was very unfriendly, noticeably flustered, and then proceeded to tell me that their system is not working once she began to ring me up (they just opened about 30 minutes prior). I asked for a possible solution to this problem and she could not give me one. Thankfully, I stuck around while she figured it out because it was baffling to me that there would be no protocol to this issue or measures to take. Another time, with the same manager, I went to return two items that I was told at another location would be perfectly fine when I checked out, as well as no where in the return policy was it restricted, the tags were attached and unused. She told me that they don’t do returns on them because most people use and return. I explained that their return policy doesn’t exclude these things and it was very clear they had not been used. She then told me that she would do it for me this one time but she normally doesn’t (a phrase that I learned is used often with these managers). Lastly, my most recent experience, I went to return a few items that were unworn and simply didn’t fit the way I liked, as well as find new sizes and outfits. Again, return policy said nothing about not being able to return and they were in perfect condition with tags attached. The cashier told me that they did not return these items (shocking!). Mind you, they were not lingerie, swimsuits, or final sale items. I continued to tell her they are the only location that ever says that and the return policy doesn’t exclude it. She then called over the manager (this was a different one than the prior negative experiences, but just as awful) and she says they don’t return this and that I am welcome to go to the other location that does. I explained that the return policy is company wide and it seems this location continues to make their own rules, which doesn’t make logical sense. She then agreed to do it “this one time” and then proceeds to tell me their system isn’t accepting returns. I’m speechless at this point considering their system appears to be down almost every time I am in this location, for different reasons. I told them that I would just purchase my new items and after I shopped around the mall a bit I would come back and see if it was up and running. Did this two times and returned to the store, both times it still wasn’t accepting returns. The manager had zero cares and did not try to fix the situation or provide me with an alternative solution. I get things happen, but atleast be decent to your customers to try and ease the situation. I still have the items and I honestly debate whether I eat the money JUST so I don’t have to go back and be belittled by the manager/s and have to explain the situation for the fourth time. I love Forever 21 as a whole and have shopped there for decades, but this location needs some serious TLC in the manager department and consistency with company policy.

One register open the weekend before Christmas and the girl working it needed help for every transaction. Get a real manager that cares about productivity and their customers.

The managers and employees are fake and have no customer service skills or know how to provide actual solutions. They also leave security tags on your clothes and won’t take it off unless you have a receipt even though they should be able to track a purchase that was made with a card, they claim they can’t. I won’t spend another dime at this place.

Went to the store at 8:15pm to be kicked out because they are closed even though the website clearly says 9pm. When asking the employees about the hours “We haven’t had a chance to change them since Covid “ how long ago was that lol?

Stay away from this location and spend your money elsewhere. The RUDEST people work here and this store is such a hot mess. Now I remember why I don't step foot into this store. Employees are always walking around like they are on another level.... It's forever 21... not Saks 5th Avenue...Jordan at the cash register has no idea what customer service is and should be taught on how to talk to people...The manager should put her in the back in stock and not up front interacting with people..Stay away. This store deserves 0 stars.

Horrible experience with the manager tonight. Jen or Jennifer. She is would not let me pick up my online order. She said her register was closed… she helped the ladies that came in after me… she is extremely rude. This is not my first interaction with her. I have been In here one other time in the last 6 months and she would not honor the sticker price. The girl ringing me out asked for her help to input the correct charge amount and she wouldn’t do it. She said that’s no on sale. I was like it has a sticker but prob an accident no biggie. But the girl at the register showed her they were all on sale and she said they aren’t on sale! It had a clearance sticker on it along with all the others just like it on a clearance rack. She is so rude. I read all the other complaints on here and on yelp. It seems that Is everyone’s complaint is this woman. You should contact her last employee and find out why she was fired from there too. Bc she was. It’s on yelp… and when you go to that stores page suprise! Complaints about her there too!

I shopped there on this past friday! I spwnt almost $200 dollars there! When I made it home I notice one of items which was a pair of shoes were mossing! I called the store more than 15 times to inform them of what had taken place! There was no answer until about after the seventh call someone pocked up and hung up! After awhile I gave up! Sarurday eveing I called the store still no help! Finnaly today I called no answer so i decided to go back up to the store with my receipt and proof of call log of me trying to contact them! When I explained to the manager ehat was had happened she told me She would have to call the cashier that initially rung me up! She called her wnd she claimed she put them in the bag which was a complete lie! I provided all my proof of purchase and the manager was extremely ride and aggressive with me the entire time! I then asked for my refund and the manager said she I dont have the item she cant refund me! I told her I never did get the item in my shopping bag when I checked out! The number that I was calling that ai got off the receipt was incorrect!!! The number to theor cooperate office was incorrect! I asked her to check thr cameras and the manager told me it would take 3 hours and she can take my name and number! I declined because that means i would have to continually go with out and have to drive all the way back to gilbert from east mesa for yhe three time when it was me that made this mistake?. I am returning all the other items once I go back up there when I onow she have had enough time to check them cameras! Home girls not getting away with this one! And yes I still got my receipt and cal log n screenshots

Clothes alright as they tend to shrink, but the management in this store specifically got some loose screws. Store seems very understaffed as workers seem very stressed and all over the place. Because of this customer service seems to have taken a hit since the associates are busy with other things instead of helping potential buyers. All in all overall management could do better for the situation.

Shop here quite often. Employees are typically never very friendly. Tried to return an item that the last day to return was on Easter went to the store to find out it was closed because they don’t update their hours online. Went back a day later to make the return and the manager claims there’s no possible way to make a return after the 30 days not even for store credit. I find that to be bull as I worked retail and there is ALWAYS an override. If it’s worth not making an additional sale of $75 and an unhappy customer for a measly $30 return that’s a poor way to let your business be ran.
