I rented a storage unit from September 2024 to October 2025 while living in Gilbert, AZ. Even though I only lived there for about three months before relocating back home to Florida, the team at this U-Haul location made everything easy from start to finish.
Whenever I had questions, they were always helpful over the phone and kept things simple. During my time there, new managers Lucas and Amanda took over, and they were absolutely amazing to work with. They went above and beyond to help me through a few unique circumstances and made coordinating with my movers a breeze when it came time to empty the unit and close out my account.
Their professionalism, kindness, and reliability gave me real peace of mind — which means a lot when you’re managing things from across the country. Hands down, this has been the best storage facility I’ve ever used, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, well-run U-Haul location.

I rented a unit from Gilbert Self Storage today and had an outstanding experience working with Amanda & Lucas. From start to finish, the service was top-notch — friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. The facility itself is spotless and exceptionally well-maintained, which I truly appreciate.
Fair pricing and great specials made the decision even easier, and the little extras like cold water and warm cookies were a very thoughtful touch that made me feel genuinely welcomed. I have high standards when it comes to customer service and cleanliness, and Gilbert Self Storage exceeded them in every way.

While moving we realized last minute that we would need to place some stuff in storage. We called Gilbert Self Storage and right away we had our needs met. Going into the office to sign paperwork was super easy and the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. They had cold water bottles and freshly baked cookies to offer us and it was overall an awesome experience. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is looking for a storage unit in Gilbert AZ.

I definitely encourage you to check this place out and lease a storage unit from them. I was a customer for almost two years and during that time there was always friendly, top notch customer service. It was a very enjoyable experience and if I am ever in the need of another storage unit I will surely use them again!

We have the best customer service. Always a great experience when we stop in to say hello to the office. They are so helpful and loving people that work here. If you are looking for a great place for storage this is highly recommend. Price is so good and the location is great.
