If I could give negative stars I would. I went in Sunday afternoon around 2 pm to return an online order that I received damaged. My box of bars was smashed flat and I had only received one bar out of 5. I had the packing slip with my order. The employee was not able to locate my order in the system, despite having the order number on the packing receipt. He stated since he couldn't scan my order in I couldn't return it. I literally sat in the parking lot and called the customer service number on my receipt. The agent was able to locate my order and refunded my money after I sent her pictures of the product and how it was received. As someone who works with the public I couldn't help but think, perhaps the employee could have made an extra effort and called the customer service number? Maybe to find out why they couldn't locate my order? Offer me an exchange? It was obvious it's a GNC product; I had the packing slip. Just ridiculous. Glad I wasted my gas and mileage for that phone call I could have made at home.

Employee was nice but pushy... trying to sell me every supplement that was the most expensive in the store. Told employee I had pre workout, protein already and asked for a recommendation on BCAA only to be shown protein. Asked me 3 times at least if I wanted to sign up for their reward program and was shocked when I said no. Their supplements are also extremely overpriced. You can literally get Beyond Raw and Bucked Up brand preworkout from Walmart for $20 less than here. Now I remember why I haven't stepped foot in a GNC in 10 years.

Typically the guy in the store is tolerable, but I must have gone in when he was in a horrible mood last week. I asked about the general flavors of the Lean Shake 25 I normally buy. He didn't have more than one or two boxes due to shipping issues. That's fine, I can deal with that. He was super rude and said, "Maybe you should branch out on the flavors you drink." Some of them taste bad, but I decided if I wanted the shakes, I'd have to try those. I was buying 6 boxes, so had to buy 4 boxes of new flavors. They were not good! Learned my lesson there. I've been shopping in this store for a few years, so he recognizes me. He was really put out when I checked out and didn't pay for the yearly membership. The guy that checked out in front of me wouldn't pay it either, so when he got to me he was mad. I don't go in there often enough to make it useful for me. After this I will find another store to shop at, or just buy online. I get it everyone has a bad day, but this was enough to make me go elsewhere.

Went in to buy several items, including protein powder and vitamins. It was immediately obvious that the employee did not want to help me. Left empty handed and purchased over $100 from their competitor.

GNC stores often have buy one, get the second half off which is a steal on some nutritional products! I personally appreciate an employee with knowledge, so if in SLC, Utah? I highly recommend going to the store off the 5600 by WalMart vs others in the area! 5 stars are for the employee's who help a 100%~ some simply work there for a job & have zero knowledge but they smile while they work!:) In Phoenix, AZ area stores?
