We booked two 90-min massage packages through Groupon as a couple, but the session lasted only 80 minutes. My package included an enhancement (valued at $15) that was never given, while my boyfriend received two and was charged extra for one. On top of that, they added a $10 fee for the couple’s room that was never disclosed when booking, and later even called asking for another $10 — insisting we pay even though they hadn’t provided the enhancement. Staff were rude and mentioned they had our card on file to use since we didn’t agree to come back and pay.
The massage therapists themselves were very good and professional, but because of the lack of transparency and unfair charges, I’m not coming back.

Hand and Stone Gilbert has been a great experience. We have been three times (two massages and a facial) and each time has been peaceful and relaxing. We recently joined their membership and feel the price is reasonable and worth the cost for a pampered self care hour. Every person I have interacted with has been kind and respectful, and caters to my needs that day. We are very happy with the services we've received.

I found out about Hand and Stone through a Groupon. I got a facial and a massage, both were only my second time experiencing each. Both were wonderful! My massage therapist and esthetician were great, they were both knowledgeable, and gave me an awesome experience. The spa was very relaxing and very clean inside. The front desk staff were also super helpful and kind. It was a perfect spa day! They do offer memberships as well, but I did not pay close attention to those.

I scheduled an appointment with a gift card a week ago. They called and rescheduled me twice. Then I got a call today saying the gift card is no good and it's going to be $80 for services. I told them to cancel and the cancellation fee is $40! Not cool.

SCAM alert. Front desk took my gift card that had $140 on it and said my $80 intro massage took up the entire card. I asked how much was on it and she said, “Good for one session” twice. So I made her look up exactly how much was spent and she said, “$140, oops you have $50 left on your card.” Then she gave me my card back. My hour long session was 45 min long and the therapist was clearly in a rush. Horrible!!!

The BEST experience! I was given a gift card by my boss for a facial and went to Hand And Stone (Gilbert). Tam (Tamara) is absolutely phenomenal. She takes great care to make you feel special and beautiful. I was so impressed that I bought a membership and have been going for over a year. I cannot recommend her enough. She will not push anything on you but will give you honest feedback about how you can improve your skin care. It’s simply up to you if you choose to do anything about it. I just had the best Deep tissue massage tonight with David! Wow, David dug into the knots in my shoulders and it really helped so much after weeks of pain. Hand and Stone Gilbert have outstanding therapists all around. David was outstanding and also have had amazing massage from Kayla in the past too! Love having solid therapists I can count on!!

Although Amy, the manager, followed through on what Lynn promised regarding the mistake with my massage, I’ve decided I’ll be going to a different location moving forward. I’ve had exceptional experiences at another location and expected the same high quality level of service here, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
Disclaimer: I was asked by the manager to remove or edit my original review, claiming it was too harsh and insinuated I may have written it for attention. That’s not true. I simply wanted to give other patrons a clear idea of what occurred.

Facial was pleasant except when the gal started opening pores on my nose. It was so painful, and I said it hurt but she continued. I would never have that done again.
