This review is for Marian Burt (Senior Tax Analyst) specifically. What an angel she is. She was professional, extremely competent, trustworthy, and kind. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner and was patient with me while explaining complex tax topics. I could feel that she cared about me as a human being, not just as a number in a computer system. SHE is who I recommend for taxes going forward. Thank you Marian!

This would be a zero stars if i could !I started a conversation with a preparator about 4/3 and explained a complicated return and it would be a bit before my wife was back in town and we would have all documents ready for filing- but we would have them by the 15th.I passed along a LOT of information to get her a clear idea of the complexity.When I finally got all the documents to her (as explained) on 4.13, she gave me an estimate.I said that would work and I had two more questions before we decided married filing jointly or separate.The next morning. 4.14.22 I was told she didn't have time to complete the return.When I spoke to the manager, she offered no remedy or remediation. She could care less, and she added that the whole district was booked. I am now stuck with no options!Horrible Experience

Zero stars. I scheduled an appointment to get my husband's and my taxes filed. I received a text verification with confirmation for the appointment time and location. We showed up for the appt. and the girl at the front desk acts surprised saying they don't have us down for an appt. We showed her our verification, but continued to act as if she didn't know anything about it. She says there was only one other place that had an available appt. somewhat nearby, we agree for the time and location, but then she proceeds to say that appt. is no longer available! She then goes to her notepad and proceeds to tell us there is only ONE other location an hour away with the only availability a week away! I accept the appt., then she says she's sending a text to my husband's phone. We wait and he never receives a text! I ask her a few times to use my phone number which she refuses, then I ask her once again a few minutes later to change the number they have on file to my phone number which she finally reluctantly agrees to. I NEVER receive a text either! Did she lie saying she was going to send a text confirmation? More than likely being it's so close to the end of tax season, and they more than likely are short staffed. I ask for a printout or email confirmation, but she says she has no way to do that. She writes the info of the office on a post-it, which I will probably take to that office and show it to them, and that office will more than likely say they don't have an appt. for us either! I ask if I can leave our taxes at an HR Block office for a tax preparer to fill out forms on their own time, but she tells us there's no time for her to give forms to a tax preparer due to the tax season almost being up! If we have proof of an actual scheduled appointment H&R Block SHOULD keep their word and look up my confirmation number for the appointment which she refused to do. I feel H&R Block overbooked appointments and lies to customers telling them they don't have the customer's information for their appointments. Ridiculous and unprofessional. We'll never do our taxes with H&R Block again.

Tax grandma, for lack of a better term. I had allot of anxiety coming in today, but that all went away as soon as Shahla greated me. She was just really welcoming and patient with me, and her voice was so soothing. Reminded me of my grandma. Will definitely be doing repeat business, thank you Shahla!

Getting a CPA, two years running in AZ and errors abound. We pay them so I don't have to deal with this sort of thing. Incompetence at the highest level. Never again.

Our representatives is extremely kind, considerate, knowledgeable and professional! I like going to that location and meeting face to face since it is more personal and professional. There are too many risks online as well as being cold and impersonal.

Completed it in an hour and educated us about options but bottles of water etc could I’ve improved the experience. The temperature was okay but last year was hot on the office.
