The hours are stated online & on the store's doors as being open till 10 pm on Fridays. Drove over & arrived by 9:30 pm to buy a shirt needed for the following day. Store was locked. TERRIBLE. Unacceptable "service".

I've had such a great relationship with Kohl's, I will probably always go there, no matter what. I take advantage of online orders with their special deals. This wasn't a good experience. I spent 20 minutes returning a single item. I did forget my receipt, and I apologized for that.
Having said that, I pulled up the purchase on my Kohl's app and did an in-store return on the spot. The person handling returns said that she scanned the barcode from the return barcode on my phone, but it didn't say what item it was. I am certain it was the item that I was trying to return, but it didn't seem to matter to her.
I volunteered to go back to the section where they sold the item and get the SKU so she could scan it and do a return without receipt. They no longer carry the item even though I just purchased it less than a month ago.
I called her attention to the credit card terminal in front of me. The message scrolling past the screen was something like, "Hassle-Free Returns". HA! No matter what I said, she would not process the return even though the price was correct on the return barcode. It was a pretty unbelievable experience.
She started trying to find the inventory SKU on her scanner. She claimed that she couldn't find it. I took a picture of the item and did a 'Google Image Search'. It came up within about 2 seconds to prove that it was sold at Kohl's. She got another employee involved, and it just became a huge drawn-out issue for less than $20.
She finally did a return, out of thin air without any problem at all, and gave me a store credit. I bought two T-shirts right away and used the store credit. Actually, because she refused to use the return barcode that I provided her, they gave me a store credit for almost $5 more than I paid for the slippers. 🤣
I was shocked to find out that the Amazon return counter was in the farthest corner away from the front entry. I don't understand that. There are four stations right by the front door with the ability to do returns. The last two Kohl's that I've shopped at had the return counter for both Kohl's product and Amazon right by the front door, next to online pickups. I don't walk well. It's quite an experience to go from the front door to the farthest point away from the entry to return Amazon products at a Kohl's. Why? Come on, Kohl's. Fix this. 🙄
What an incredible waste of my time today. I needed to return one Kohl's item, two Amazon items, and buy two T-shirts. It ended up taking over 45 minutes total. I'm somewhat disabled because of my knees. What if someone came in with an Amazon return who has a more serious physical limitation? They have to walk nearly to the store warehouse to process an Amazon return? I'll find another Kohl's or different Amazon return location in the future. This one is not efficient.
Cannot recommend ☹️.

Really nice interior layout and well-designed tables, much better variety and amount of men’s active wear clothes than Old Navy. Wish there were more small and extra small clothes in stock for men though. Also, the changing rooms were lacking and not as private as Old Navy’s.

Friendly 😁, just had to get a few more steps in because I took the basket out to the car with the kiddos ☺️ Happy Holidays
