Light of Christ Christian Preschool

Schools
Hours: Light of Christ Christian Preschool and Academy is a small, faith-based school known for its caring staff, small class sizes, and affordable tuition. The preschool offers a play-based environment with a focus on social skills, faith, and early learning. With approximately 12 children and two teachers in each classroom, children enjoy activities like crafts, sensory bins, music, chapel, and free play on a shaded playground that includes a climbing dome, tricycles, and a sand area. The weekly chapel and Bible stories, led by pastors, help instill Christian values from an early age. The academy’s K-1st program continues this nurturing approach, with small classes that allow for individualized attention. Teachers like Ms. LeBlanc and Mrs. Beauford create engaging, joyful environments that foster academic growth and social development. Students excel in reading and math, often reaching higher levels than expected for their age. The program emphasizes writing, with children developing confidence in storytelling and handwriting. The school also offers specials such as art, music, PE, and library, along with recess, snack, and lunch time that promote social interaction. Parents appreciate the thoughtful, caring staff and the opportunity for children to grow academically, socially, and spiritually in a safe, supportive environment. The school plans to expand each year, adding grades and enriching the community.
