I recently had the displeasure of dealing with luxe salon and spa management by the name of Stephanie which is the 3rd management within the last 3 months and Wayde the owner and the experience was beyond frustrating. The lack of organization and professionalism was evident from the moment I interacted with the front desk telling me that they are very irresponsible individuals
Firstly, the communication was abysmal. It seemed like no one knew what was going on, and simple inquiries took forever to get a response. It was incredibly frustrating to be left in the dark about important matters about ordering product.
Secondly, the decision-making process was a disaster. It felt like they were making things up as they went along, with no clear direction or strategy. This not only wasted my time but also showed a complete disregard for the customers' needs.
Furthermore, the overall atmosphere created by the management was toxic. There was a palpable sense of disorganization and confusion among the staff, which reflected poorly on the company as a whole. It's clear that there is a serious lack of leadership and competence at the managerial level.
In conclusion, my experience with luxe management was nothing short of a nightmare. Their incompetence and lack of professionalism have cost them not only my business but also my respect. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere until they get their act together.

There was only two people working and millions of empty chairs. That explains a lot.

Brooklyn was able to see me last minute and did an AMAZING job! It’s hard to lighten dark hair, but she did a full head of highlights and cut in <3hrs and it looks really good. I also have super thick, curly hair so it can take awhile to do. I’ll definitely come back!

I’ve been going to Kristie for almost 2 years now and received DMK facials on a regular basis. These are the best facials and this is the best an aesthetician I have ever worked with. I have had many years of facials and I cannot recommend this more highly. Kristie is amazing, her touch is gentle and comforting, and I have to admit. I usually fall asleep during the treatments ha ha I promise you, you will not be sorry if you get any treatment at all from Kristie Luxe Salon & Spa

I used Luxe for several years from 2014 to 2022. I had the same hair stylist and the service was great. The place was always busy. Because of scheduling conflict I tried another place for about a year. A few months ago I came back to Luxe to find a very different salon, and not in a good way. The place is always empty. The professionals are different. The service is not the same. This last Friday, which was my birthday, I had made an appointment with Shea (who was the third stylist I had tried there) for color and cut. What a surprise when I got to my appointment to be told I was seeing Dani and not Shea. I told the front desk my appointment was with Shea and not Dani, and they told me Shea was out sick. Nobody called me to let me know of the change. Manager comes out saying I had not requested Shea specifically. When I called to make my appointment I asked specifically for Shea. Manager said they work on commission and will move your appointment to someone else if stylist is unavailable without notifying client. I was not happy. I really needed the color so I kept my appointment. Dani was not personable at all. She did my color and while washing my hair never asked if water temperature was okay, got quite a bit of water in my ear and did not apologize for it. Back at her station I showed her a picture of a haircut, and she said we could do it. It was a cut a little shorter than mine and with more texture on the ends. She cut my hair in less than 5 minutes, and I am not exaggerating here. She did not touch my bangs at all, and my hair is probably about 3" shorter than what she showed me on my body. I am afraid of washing my hair and looking at it. Right now it is styled so it looks fine. While getting my hair done I was able to witness the manager cutting this teenager boy hair. He had long and untamed hair. She was chopping it, and I knew he was not going to be happy with the result. I have boys with long hair. I watched the whole process. Once she was done I could hear her apologizing to the boy for the end result. She was sorry they were not on the same page there. Two unhappy customers!! I would not recommend this place at all anymore. Earlier this morning I posted this review about my visit to this business. Later I got these threatening text messages from their manager. I did not lie on my review and I did not make any comments about her stylist Shea. I am a manager to and I deal with customers daily. This is not the type of management anyone wants for their business. I had to block her name from my phone so I would stop receiving her harassing messages.

As far as the stylists go, for the most part they are great. I have had my hair done here a few times and had a couple of different services.
As far as management goes, the new manager micromanages the stylists, will take pictures and send them to other members of staff to talk badly about them, and overall does not appear to have the experience she claims.
I am VERY close with many staff members that have quit, as I’ve been here quite a few times, if you are looking for a salon with a wide selection of experts, this is not the place. There are about 4 or 5 stylists left at the salon due to new management and the owner changing all the current policies that have been in place for almost a year. Speaking on those, the owner decided to tell his staff that they suddenly have to have a 30 day notice, which goes against the AZ right to work laws that are in place, which he would have 0 ability to defend if it was ever brought up in a legal setting. It's alleged, the owner also avoided paying two of the staff that quit, due to them not fulfilling their 30 day notice, which was put in place after they quit. Allegedly, this was not rectified until legal action was mentioned and the BBB was notified it was happening.
I remember coming in the first time and the atmosphere was great and everyone was happy and bubbly, by my last service, the atmosphere had changed and you could tell that something was off in the air, not to mention that the lobby was gutted and there were black marks left all over the wall from the furniture being moved and then never replaced, there is currently no waiting area, so 1 hope you don't bring your kids in for a haircut or style service.
Owner, Wade, and new manager, Shanda, have single handedly brought this business down from an easy 4 to a 1 within weeks. While I would say please support these stylists, but the truth is they make less than 50% on your service and even less if you buy one of the many, constantly changing membership options. Not to mention that they were taken off the online booking if they didn't submit a Yelp review. (which is against Tos and why they kept getting removed.) They have little to no support for the people with families that work here.
You'd be better off at a Great Clips instead of this "luxury" salon.
I am my own person with my own opinions and am more than happy to add screenshots of what I mentioned above if anyone is curious.
When over half your staff quits and you are left with 4-5 stylists, you can't take any accountability, and you're running out of money, you can't look around and blame everyone else, it may be time for the owner to take a look in the mirror. He has no experience owning or running a salon and was flat broke before he took it over.
The salon is now calling old stylists clients and telling them they rescheduled an appointment with them when they no longer are employed there.
Please be wary of their unethical at best business practices. Sounds like they will drag you in by telling you your stylist, that quit to go literally anywhere but here, is there and then think you will stay with them after they put you with one of the five remaining stylists that are most likely looking for a new opportunity.

Had the BEST experience today with Madi!! Her hair knowledge and confidence gave me such comfort. I’ve been fearful of salons because of a past experience, thankfully I found Luxe!! My hair looks and feels amazing! Madi was spot on with everything she suggested, she was patient and walked me through each step thoroughly. Madi’s passion for her craft is my benefit!!
5 star experience!!!!
In addition, salon is beautiful. They have complimentary offerings both snacks and beverages. Super clean, everyone was so nice. Plus they offer so many things!! Nails, massage lashes soon!!

I absolutely adore this place. Aalia did incredible with my hair, she was so kind, funny, and really cared how i felt about my hair. i got exactly what i wanted!! i'll always come back here.

I very picky with the places i go to get my haircut. As soon as walked into this salon i was greeted by very friendly staff. Owners were there and very engaged, everyone vas very attentive. The service was great my haircut was PERFECT!!

I loved my experience today! Madelyn was so sweet and she did a great job on my hair color. Shanda at the front desk was so welcoming and nice, everyone there seems genuinely great. I liked the salon so much I booked a pedicure appointment. I am glad I found such a great a full service salon so close to home!
