I just want to play basketball here like I used to. They rarely have open gym, the one time they did have it this month, they had volleyball nets splitting both courts in half. When asked if they would be moving it, I was told "no" and that I "could shoot around them". So much for an Open Gym.

Well the fishing has gotten to be really bad.? AZGFD has done poor job of fish stocking. No one is practicing CPR (catch picture release).

Nice kid park with clean restrooms that have kid-height sinks. And snack vending that takes tap-to-pay.

While I didn't actually go inside the building, I was able to explore the exterior of the center. There was plenty of parking and there was a big sign by the entrance so you knew you were turning in the right way. On the outside of the building in the activity area, it's nice to see how there are some areas to have fun and play your favorite sport. There was a beach volleyball court which while spacious with 2 nets was muddy. Next to the volleyball court, there was a huge pavilion with about at least 3 picnic tables spaced apart, and then there was a fenced tennis court right next to that. Tennis court area was clean and the area was covered with a translucent mesh and it was neatly colored and marked. There were also huge softball fields and if you walked a little bit further, there were two small playground areas- both shaded with 2 more picnic ramadas. The only downside was that that the slides in the plagyrounds were small and short and no-frills, no fancy equipment.

The worst organization ever! They make you call a million times to reserve a spot to play badminton and even after the efforts you cannot get a spot as same people are making multiple spots to reserve as there is no way to find out if the same person is calling twice as they can give a fake no and name. They ask you to call at 9 am but the calls always on voice mail and the only chance you get is when all the spots are taken. How can a system be so bad . It needs to have a waitlist and take calls in the order they receive instead of random calls or have an online booking system which is more fair then randomly picking calls as soon as they can. Why is it so hard to get a spot to play I do not understand. It’s frustrating as we literally call nonstop in the morning and still do not get a spot to play as the system is so bad. Can’t believe they are living in 2021 and following this kind of ridiculous methods for reservations.

The park equipment and tables, etc. are disinfected daily and the restrooms are very clean. There's a nice playground with plenty of seating and shade.
