When we went into the store in September 0f 2019, very helpful great help.. then after we leased aCLP 565, they promised us excellent continued servive approximately 2 years later a pencil rolled trhough the crack and now whenwe press it it doesnt sound as it should we called and initially they told us you don't service the piano/ clavinova here; I just tried called again today frustrated no one answered as usual, however the manager did call back and said he has two technicians that "might" be able to look at it. Luckily they were able to pull up our account still. I'm hoping they can come look at the clavinova. If you see this review My First Piano please send a technician. and we'll update the review.

We would highly recommend My First Piano. Micah helped us figure out what was the best option for a piano for our daughter. We also did some research online and found out that all the information we received was spot on. The white glove delivery and extended warranty was included in the price. We also like we got to support a local business. Thank you, Micah. Our daughter is very happy with her piano!

The piano rental option at My First Piano is fantastic. This gives you the opportunity to have a high quality Yamaha piano in your home as you begin piano lessons. The first six months of rental payments can be applied to your purchase of a piano. The store has an excellent selection of pianos. Also, the staff is very helpful. The business is family-owned, and Mr. Wallace took the time to explain all options to me.

Fantastic service! Quick delivery by folks that really cared about the instillation. After playing for awhile, the keyboard “didn’t feel right” — and they replaced the piano with another one No Questions Asked. Very impressive staff. We would highly recommend My First Piano to anyone interested in a top quality instrument and top quality support!

I purchased a new Clavinova through the leasing program. This is my first piano purchase. My daughter is taking lessons, and I"m learning with her, and wanted to invest in a high quality "forever" instrument.I leased the CLP-735. I loved the instrument and decided to purchase, but wanted to upgrade mainly because I wanted the wooden keys. I looked at several models in the showroom and they were ready sweeten the deal, but I decided the 745 offered everything I was looking for at my price point. No high pressure sales tactics at all. The color I wanted wasn't in yet and they allowed me to keep the rental until my piano arrived. The piano was delivered fully assembled within about three weeks, and included a music book and a set of really nice Yamaha monitor headphones. We are so happy with this piano. It matches our furniture and I love to play with the different voices and recording functions. The Yamaha apps on my Android tablet add to the experience. I had an issue where the Bluetooth on the piano would not automatically connect to the tablet for a MIDI connection, and I had to pair the device every time I wanted to connect. I spoke with someone in the store, and even received a call a few weeks later from someone checking to see if I figured it out, and gave me a few tips. Still could not get it working, but not for lack of effort on MFP's part. Also I didn't care for how the bank that handles the Yamaha 18 mo. same as cash does their statements. MPF clearly noted that I had purchased under this offer, but the loan statements do not include the terms. I simply got a statement saying a small payment was due which was about half of what it would take to pay off the loan, and it included interest. Nowhere does the bank call out the promo offer nor that the interest is deferred. Has a payday-loan-y feel to it. But, that has nothing to do with MFP and in fact when I called the store to ask questions they took the time to step me through all the paperwork and agreements.Love this place. Will return for sure if I ever decide to make a change.

This place is great, Josh is very nice and professional. We bought our first piano from him about 15 years ago. At the time we can only afford a very low cost piano, but he never made us feel like we were less important. We were happy to see that he was still in business recently when we got a new piano from him. He is not pushy and does his best to cater to your needs. They delivered the piano to our home, and they were even nice enough to bring our old piano to some family members that wanted it.

I have known Josh and My First Piano for many years and have loved doing business with them, personally and professionally. Being a local piano teacher, they have gone above and beyond to support my business and our teachers association. I’ve sent many students to them and would recommend their multiple services to anyone! From beginners to advanced pianists, they are the place to go and can fulfill their customers multiple needs! They are much more than just a store. They are a solid part of our musical community!

I'd rate their service a solid 5 stars, and their overall business operations are top-notch. Taylor, the representative I interacted with, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond to provide me with valuable information to assist in selecting the perfect piano. Their rental process is incredibly straightforward, and the piano quality is good for classical music. I recommend this place for anyone in the local area! A good experience :)

The Yamaha CLP 735 arrived on time as promised and in perfect condition. Just beautiful, thanks. It even came with a bonus, an execelent Yamaha head phone for quiet practice. I have never bought anything this easy. Everything was right on. Kudo to Piano Guys Piano Store.

From my first visit in the show room of My First Piano I felt comfortable. Josh Wallace makes you feel welcome from his first introduction. The Yamaha digital pianos are all the quality you expect from Yamaha pianos. I use a Yamaha Clavinova in my teaching and students and parents like the way it sounds and feels. This is so important in motivating students to keep practicing. Thanks Josh, My First Piano is my first choice for sure. Bradley

Safe and Sound and My First Piano, I guess are under the same management. Thus, I’m also sharing my terrible experience on this page too!Don’t go with them, incompetent workers and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called Safe and Sound on 11/29/21 at 10:11 AM, and spoke to an Elizabeth. She quoted me $190 and said they can move my piano 12/3. She called back 11:37 AM, explained she was new and it would have to be pick-up 12/9, delivering it at 12/10. So I went with them anyway (huge mistake) because I was given the best quote at $190. Elizabeth called 12/8 giving me the time window for pick-up. I called back to get the exact amount to write a check. This was the first time she told me about a mileage fee and it would be $249. I told her she never mentioned a mileage fee. Then she tried to gaslight me and say “she’s pretty sure she told me”. This, despite the fact she acknowledge me she’s new on 11/29.My husband and I went to “My First Piano”, and spoke to a young man who was clearly covering for Elizabeth. Elizabeth didn’t even acknowledge us, and had her back toward us the entire time. He said that she recorded $249, and I asked him if he listened to the recording on 11/29, he said he didn’t have access to it. So she told me $190, recorded $249, but didn’t even listen to the voice recording. So even though Elizabeth screwed up, they refused to make it right. I have no problem paying $249 if they were willing to acknowledge they screwed up. I told him we would cancel, and he said, “that’s fine”, and immediately walked away. Go with Max Piano, or a mover with integrity. Pretty outraged with these kids in their customer service department, poor training and they treat people horribly.
