Follow up on my previous post regarding Santan Ford committing odometer fraud. After more than a dozen hours on the phone between Santan Ford and Ford, Santan has refused to accept responsibility...they won't even concede to making a mistake...because it wasn't a mistake.SANTAN FORD COMMITS ODOMETER FRAUD.They are liars and thieves. They know EXACTLY what they're doing...lying, stealing and committing odometer fraud.Formal complaints have been sent out...AG, BBB, Ford, and every TV station in Arizona. We've also escalated the complaint with Ford. They screwed with the wrong consumer.

Be sure and only deal with the dealership in writing if buying a new or used vehicle. They do not deal in good faith and refuse to negotiate, adding additional equipment or protection if you don't agree to their number.

I would give this dealer 0 stars if I could. I ordered a Maverick about a year ago. I specifically stated that I only wanted certain accessories and nothing more.I just picked up truck with almost $4,000 in add ons I did not want. I got angry and told them I did not want any of them. They told me that is what I ordered. Everything was already installed. I should have walked out but I waited so long and paid cash for it. I later found out that every vehicle they sell has a LoJack installed. I am not sure why the $995 was not removed from the price since I did not want it. I would have walked out if I had known every vehicle has one installed.I was so upset that I went in a couple days later to complain, and all the manager would say is that it was discussed with me, but he could not produce my signature. I would have never agreed to pay for a tint job I could have gotten for a fraction of the cost. $2,000 for a desert package is a complete rip off. Tires filled with nitrogen? I doubt the nitrogen prevents a leak from a nailI will be writing a letter to the better business bureau.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! They are swindlers and crooks! We had heard that 2022 was the last year for the Ford Edge. Because we are retired, we decided we should trade in our 2020 Ford Edge (with all the bells & whistles) as this might be our last car we buy (and I LOVED my 2020 EDGE). Knowing why we wanted to trade (we said NUMEROUS times that this was the last year, in 2022, for the Edge), they NEVER ONCE corrected us (they made 2023 Edges this year!)! In addition, they sold us a 2022 Edge with FEWER amenities AND only gave us $17,000 toward our trade-in (which we we're still paying on). So now I have a car I HATE (the hood edges curve up so much that me, being short, have trouble parking, turning, etc. without running into the curb). Our payments are over $600/mo. and starting in June, 2025, we start BALLOON payments of over $900/mo for 39 more months! I would love to trade this car off and could care less if I EVER have another new car since we got burnt so bad on this one! Our only saving grace is that I gave up the warranty and maintenance plan we had been paying for so I haven't been required to make any payments for a few months BUT I AM CONTINUING PAYMENTS ON MY OWN TO GET THIS BEAST OFF OUR BACKS!!! I fear for our financial future because of this rotten company and it's swindler employees!

Beware. This dealership still uses the o'l "Bait & Switch" tactics for their sales. Went in to look at a 2020 Nissan Sentra that was Advertised for $21k. Talked them down to $20,500 on the phone the morning of. Drove and hour and a half to get there. I already had financing secure and just needed to walk in and sign papers. We get to the dealership, let them know we were there and they brought the paperwork stating the price of the car is $20,500 "agreed" and then they hit me with the mandatory dealer add ons that apparently are advertised in the fine print on the way bottom. Let's talk about these "add-ons" for a second because I don't mind paying for decent add-ons. 1st add on is the Desert Protection package. $1500. That will give you Window tint, Hydrogen in the tires, paint protection and door guards. Ok STOP. First of all, Tint was already on the vehicle to which he even told me they bought the vehicle with the tint already on. Hydrogen in the tires? Really? Discount tire will fill your tires with that at $2 bucks a tire. Door guards? $5 bucks on Amazon and the Paint Protection? They wax your car and claim they will fix any dings later on. Also told me they can't NOT charge for it because it's a spray they already put on the vehicle. Hahaha! STOP. So basically you are paying $1500 for window tint that was ALREADY ON THE VEHICLE. The next thing they charge you $599 for is the LoJack system install.. We still living in the 90's? Everyone knows you can hide an Apple car tag I your car and get the same thing for free without a subscription.Next thing they charge you for is the Etching at $599. If anyone knows about this product, it's a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY but if you still wanted to do it, You can take it to a place that will charge you $50 bucks to get it done. At the end of everything or Price we agreed on of $20,500 turned into $27k!Now I know I was gonna have to pay almost $2k for Tax, Title License but GEEZZ! What a complete rip-off. And of course the Assistant Sales manager kept trying to play the game with us. "Well what do you want to spend? What can I discount to make this deal happen?" I gavehim my final price I was willing to pay and told him "Im not here to waste my time or yours, this is the price I am willing to pay and not a dollar more" and or course he kept playing the game "Well how about this much?"Stay FAR away from this place. I do have to say that the sales team was really friendly of course but of course they are! THEY ARE YOUR FRIEND RIGHT?!?!Although, our original sales guy named Larry was awesome. No pressure what so ever but unfortunately he was off today. So Larry, if you are reading this, GET OUT OF THERE and goto a dealership that don't sell false dreams buddy! NEXT!

Went in to look at a used 2023 Maverick (with a $32k window sticker price from the original sale), the sales puppets kept try to sell it with not only $3,600 of a dealership add-on scams of a Desert Pkg, Lo Jack, Nitrogen tire fill and other crap but a $5k market add-on also !!! So a used, originally new 32K, truck was being pushed for a price of $40k !! So we walked as any sane person should !! This is why your ratings are SO BAD WAKE UP SAN TAN FORD.

I purchased a 2022 Ford Edge ST in November 2022. Five months later, San Tan Ford is denying that a repair that is going to cost in excess of $700 is under warranty. They say it is because it is due to impact damage; however, I have been the only driver of the vehicle since it's purchase, and there have been no accidents or other impacts (curbs, etc.). The vehicle was a "manager's special" used at promotional events with a few thousand miles before purchase, and any impact damage likely occurred before purchase. San Tan Ford does not stand behind its product. I will not purchase another vehicle here or from Ford, and I would recommend thinking twice before you do.EDIT: After a significant amount of effort and posting this review, San Tan Ford took the corrective action that they should have taken in the first place. I am pleased with the outcome but very disappointed in the process. Because I purchased the car about six months ago, I will still have it for some time now. I am cautiously optimistic that I will have better experiences moving forward.

I would like to follow up on this review....I was definitely not happy with my experience initially but i would like to report that the service manager Mike reached out to me on behalf of the owner. They were very kind and respectful and wanted to make things right. I really respect a business that takes ownership even though they were not involved in the situation they handled it with class. I will definitely give them another chance because of this service manager Mike Peek and the owner of San Tan Ford. Thank you!!

Oil change and all the checks that go with it. Bought my truck there (there were some issues with that) and have had it serviced there since. Lately, I have lost all faith with their service (?). Time before, they failed to replug something they had unplugged. Result, engine light and another 30 mile trip. They told me that an intermittent light would be hard to diagnose unless it was on when I came in. I made no appointment, just showed up. It took a manager to figure how they messed up. This time it was a wrench that appeared when my dash lights flickered or went out or I lost power. Never stayed on. Again, same story.... unless they could see it happening, no use bringing it in. I had to be stranded first. A meeting with the service manager lead to her dumping it on inexperienced workers. You know they have 70+ service techs and they just can't guarantee everyone's work. Gee, that was just what I wanted to hear. I am done. Lost all faith in San Tan. The only time I will be back is if no one else is available.BTW...went to a local mom and pop. The tech knew exactly what the problem was just from talking with me. Also, the issue was all over the Internet.BUYER BEWARE....Service: Oil change

Not sure how good the service is, but I called to bring my truck in and they didn't answer so what does that tell you?

I warn you always select your service advisor and avoid ROBERT PENCE. He is unprofessional and does not communicate anything unless you reach out. Even when reaching out he will not care to look into any issue and will not care to explain to you. I had waited over a month for this appointment and was a waste of time and gas. AVOID AVOID AVOID ROBERT PENCE. Other than him the service here is usually great.

Quick Lane at Ford dealers is supposed to be a separate service area for more basic things like oil change. At SanTan Ford it's just a sign above the regular service center. Need oil change? Make an appointment but next available is at least a week out, oh and it will take 5 hours. If you want to see how Quick Lane is supposed to work check out Chapman Ford in Scottsdale. Don't go to SanTan Ford expecting an oil change on your lunch break.
