Since 0 stars wasn’t an option I gave 1. We dropped our car off for an airbag light after a 2 month wait. To then be told they’d get to it in the next week and a half. 2 weeks later after hearing how terrible our car was including a dead battery (which is still running fine by the way) that I didn’t want to pay $450 for my wife picked up our car. Didn’t get out of the parking lot before it made a horrible noise and stopped driving. I limped it back for her and they tried it out and said they’d have to push it to the shop. We never found out what happened. They just said an axle issue. Weird since it was in for an airbag light and drove 60 miles there with no issue. Now our speaker in the passenger side front area is not working right. But we are afraid to bring it back to get it fixed because of the history there with our vehicle. We need it for my wife who is a teacher to be able to get to work. We will not be back there and will make sure everyone we care steers clear of the area.UPDATE After emailing Mr Knapp, the general manager. Nothing has been resolved just phone tag with the service department manager.

I took my buddy here to buy his Taos recently and had a great experience with Noe in sales, so when the time came to trade in my GTI for an upgrade, I knew I had to hit up Ken Garff Volkswagen again. This time I worked with Dean who was awesome, and a day after stopping in to chat he sent me a text to let me know they found the car of my dreams. He got me a great deal and gave me the opportunity to buy it up before it hit the floor. Couldn't be more excited about my Cornflower Blue GTI SE.

The service during the sales process at Ken Garff VW has been nothing short of excellent. My sales professional, Rich, was knowledgeable, friendly and really took his time to make sure I was comfortable with the car and its features since I was leasing my first EV. He stayed late in the evening to make sure I was taken care of. When I got hungry, the staff even found me some snacks!I had requested a darker tint on the windows but then realized it was too dark and requested a change back; the team have accommodated my requests with a smile. Rich and the manager call me by name when I walk in which is welcoming and makes me feel comfortable in asking any questions. Don’t hesitate to check them out if you are in the market for a new car!

My recent car purchase experience at Ken Garff Volkswagen in Gilbert was exceptional. I called in to schedule an oil change, and the service desk said it would be $89. When I arrived later, they said it was over $100. I explained that I was just quoted $89 and the service manager, with a straight face, said: "That's fine, I'll do it for $89, but just realize my service rep, Marcus, won't be able to feed his family tonight because of this"Why would he say that? That's off-putting. I just wanted the quote they gave me earlier that day...AND THEN, when I picked up my SUV, the service rep said they strongly recommend they replace the cabin air filter. They said the tech inspected it and said it was very dirty. The only issue with that is that I personally replaced it two days prior to the oil change. I said, "That's funny, because I changed it two days ago. Let's pull out that filter and take a look at what your tech is talking about." When I said that, the service rep froze and quickly said, "Actually never mind. Just disregard it."And then to top it all off , they added a $10 miscellaneous charge that was different then the disposal charge. The rep couldn't really explain it and it seemed like they just added it to get it over $100 again... And in case you are wondering, no, that $10 misc. was different than the disposal fee. These guys will trying and scam you and won't even try to hide it.

Great service, except when it came to the inspection feedback. I was verbally told that "there was something about the tires" but I was not old any details. I was also verbally told that my brakes are due soon, but no more details. It would be nice to get a summary printed so that it's easy for all customers with any level of mechanical knowledge to understand the condition of their car, e.g. RED means your tires are so worn out that is dangerous, or GREEN meaning your tires in great condition. I would like to see this with tires, brakes, air filters, and basically everything that is inspected.

Today I brought my car in the service (walk in with a toe truck) to repair the dead battery. I find the service people are helpful and friendly. My car had a missing toe bolt, so the toe truck could not toe the car but he came with me to the dealership to jumpstart the car in case of it stalls in the way. Upon my request the sales guy brought me a toe bolt, it was a bit of pleasant surprise. I read other reviews and was planning to give one star with strong review but will hole on for now. The sales and service guys are excellent but the management needs to work to reduce the long long wait time.The wait time for appointment was over a month for the AC repair, I had to wait from July to August the hottest months in Phoenix I and could not use the car for over a month.We bought a WV GTI Golf from this dealership, it was a good experience!!!

I had my 2021 Atlas Cross Sport R serviced today. I was on time and they were on time. Had the 30 mile service performed and they had me all done and out of there in 90 minutes. In addition they kept me up to date while they worked on it and washed and cleaned it for my convenience. A great place, staff was very helpful and friendly. The dealership was clean and comfortable. Thanks to the whole gang, a satisfied customer

Wonderful and caring specialists! These people are pros and took care of all of my VW concerns and more in a very efficient manner. A few major costs were under warranty and I was updated in real time so that took the stress off! The lounge is so clean and comfy it made the wait time fly by. Less than a month after purchase of a 2022, check engine light is on. Bought extra warranties and can’t get car looked at until over a month later. So bought a car that I can’t even drive now or get repaired. However I was able to speak to service department and they helped tremendously!! They get 5 stars!! Also received a follow up call from initial sales associate so I am revising my original review.

We came here after having a bad experience at the Kia dealership next door the day prior. The difference was absolutely night and day. We worked with Lisa who was absolutely WONDERFUL. I can’t say enough good things about her. She provided the very best car buying experience I’ve had in my entire life. She made sure we had plenty of water, always brought the cars around so we didn’t have to be out in the heat, and even provided me a private space to be able to breastfeed my baby when he got hungry. It truly felt like she was in our corner every step of the way. She helped us find the perfect car (a really nice Atlas!) and helped us get to a price we were very comfortable with. This Volkswagen dealership is definitely the place to go if you’re looking for a vehicle. And having Lisa help you out is a true blessing! Even Peter in finance is fantastic! 100% come here for the best car shopping experience you can get!

-Gentleman who checked me in (dark hair with glasses), was wonderful-I asked for a shuttle as I needed to be home for work meeting at 10:30, and no rentals were available. I got there at 9, had to ask again for the shuttle, got home at 10:11.-lots of employees standing around, I found it odd.-the pick up process was cohesive and quick. Much appreciated-prices were bonkers

I have been to this location previously and it was the worse experience. The only reason why I came back is because Volkswagen is a nightmare to get in their service. Anyone that has a Volkswagen knows they need to call all 5 dealerships in the area and basically beg to get in. This location just happened to have an opening that worked with me. Jackie had answered my call when I made my appointment. She was so fabulous to work with. I came in for my appointment someone checked me in I’m not sure his name but he was helpful he was able to tell me what he thought was the issue and was able to explain the situation to me. He said I would just have to talk to a service advisor. My service advisor was Jeff and Jeff was super awesome to work with as well! Everyone was so helpful and patient this time at the Ken Garff location. Compared to my last experience with them I want to give them 10/10 stars!

Scheduled a long way out (over a month). The work appears to have been done properly. Not a lot of explanation about the software update for the ID.4. Staff was reasonably friendly, and professional.First time using this service since they changed from Earnhardt's.
