My first order with the company. Cancelled as soon as they opened with a note saying I cancelled the order. Support tells me they cancelled at the store due to all of my items being out of stock. How does a business of this size not have an inventory system attached to their website that prevents this from happening? Also, my LAST order. I see why they are going out of business!!

Julie, The manager is very rude to instacart shoppers. She just hates dealing with them and instacart as a company especially if a customer cancels an order and you have no control over it she gets angry with you and tries demanding you put all of the items back.
The worst one is Leticia. She has a bad attitude every time you come in the store and act like she doesn't want to be there huffs and puffs and when you ask her a question she doesn't respond she's always on the phone and doing other things. Not very good at customer service.

We shop at Smart & Final Gilbert every Wednesday for our small business. It’s always a pleasure when we get Toni as our cashier! She is professional, courteous and thorough. And she always does her job with a smile on her face.
Today there was a very rude customer in front of us. The customer was not very kind to Toni and you could see that it was”took the wind out of her sails”. It was not necessary for this customer to treat her in this way. Toni was especially helpful and polite to this customer. Sometimes you just can’t satisfy everyone and this seems to be the case here!
Toni is great and we also really appreciate the produce manager. Also always helpful and friendly!

Joust found this place in November of last year and lived in the area for just over three years now, wished I had found it sooner. Great prices on the staples and produce. My go to for stocking the fridge.

While a cross between a grocery store and a Costco or Sam's, some of the prices are very good the store is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Manager on duty needs to be coached on Customer Service. Her name was Alicia or Felicia. All I know is she was wearing a red vest. Sees me approaching the express check out and turns her light off without saying a word. Then walks by with a smug look on her face like someone killed her dog or something. Another guest was looking for something and she was so impatient and rude in the process of showing him where the item was. Don’t work customer service jobs if you don’t have the personality or patience for it!

Customer service sucks at this place, as matter of fact it doesn't even seem to exist!
Management in this store has no clue!
Trying to get their First Street Chocolate cake mix for 4 weeks now,but they still don't have it!
Called other Smart and Final stores and they all have it!
