Southeast Regional Library is a well-loved community resource located next to the riparian preserve. The library is housed in a remodeled building that used to be the Gilbert Town Hall, featuring wide hallways and high ceilings. It offers a large selection of books with separate spaces for adults and children, making it easy to focus. The children's area is especially charming, resembling a storybook setting. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, who make the experience enjoyable. The library provides various amenities, including study rooms, newspapers, magazines, comics, and a used book shop. It also offers information on local events and resources. The library's process for obtaining a card is seamless, with options for placing holds online or via the app, and benefits like text notifications and curbside pickup. There are no late fees, only charges for lost or damaged items. However, some visitors find frequent requests for donations or sign-ups when entering or leaving the library to be inconvenient, often opting for pickup to avoid this. Overall, Southeast Regional Library is considered a great resource, offering a welcoming atmosphere, a huge selection of materials, and a beautiful view, making it a favorite for many families in the area.
My new library card doesn’t glow in the dark like I was told it would, 1 star! Jk. the woman at the counter was extremely helpful when signing up for a membership. Thank you

Only county library I’ve been to. It’s really nice. It’s strange Gilbert doesnt have its own library but doesn’t need one if it has this.

Me and my daughters favorite library, we love going after school and can spend hours in there. Huge selection, lots of different spaces, and a nice view too! So glad this library is around 📖
