Hours: Starts With Love Foundation supports and empowers individuals by providing safe and clean housing, working to end homelessness through transitional housing. The Saguaro House, located near Guadalupe & Recker Roads, has been described as a life-changing experience, teaching patience, resilience, and compassion. Residents have stayed for almost two and a half years, receiving help and support from peers, family, and the owner, Stefanie. The house manager, Mike, is exceptionally helpful and supportive, while Stefanie is highly attentive, visiting nearly every day to check on supplies and offer opportunities for discussion. Weekly Sunday house meetings foster ongoing support among residents committed to their own recovery. The house is beautiful, and the environment is focused on having a better life and helping others do the same. The staff really cares and plays a major role in sobriety. Residents are very welcoming and considerate, going out of their way to make newcomers feel comfortable. Another sober living house, Ironwood House, has recently opened in Chandler, AZ, with equally welcoming residents. This foundation is a great organization that supports recovery, highly recommended for anyone serious about getting clean and sober and looking for a safe place.
