TL:DR— if you’re a pregnant or postpartum mom, be prepared to be mansplained & receive the third degree if you’re trying to get a merchandise credit for gifts from your baby shower, diapers, anything baby related, etc outside of their arbitrary return policy window (even with receipts).I had a lovely experience today being talked down to by an associate who really liked using scare tactics, when I had the receipts proving I purchased the diapers, and simply wanted a merchandise credit to purchase the next size up in diapers in store that day. The associate or “lead” proceeded on a lengthly monologue about how he could not accept the proof of purchase receipts and that if I chose to use my ID to get a merchandise credit, my ID would not be accepted at ANY other retailer (even outside of Target) because this was the ONE exception he, in all his power and glory, could give me. He explained that this is the policy to ward off “people” from taking things off shelves and then trying to return them for money— ok great, you want to avoid loss prevention & shoplifting— except I had the receipts on my Target app proving I purchased the diapers. Not a good look, Target— this is not how you treat people.

Recently returned an item purchased online. I did not have my receipt nor my card. The clerk was able to easily help me. She was great because she didn’t even flinch. She was also curtious.

The old lady Laura from customer service treated me horrible. She treated the person before me great and when it came to me, she looked down at me. Coincidentally the person in front of me and her share the same skin tone. I was racially profiled by her. Never going back there again! First time experiencing this!!

I go to many targets for drive up. This has to be the slowest target I have ever been to for drive up. I go to this one since it is close to my work and anytime I have come whether I'm the only car or one of 5 cars there is always a 15+ minute wait time. So if you have a drive up order, beware to wait for a long time at this target location.

Target's decision to combine the return and pickup lines resulted in inefficiency, amplifying the frustration caused by long wait times. Leveraging technology like barcode scanning via the app and utilizing location services for designated pickup areas could drastically improve this process, making it more efficient and convenient for customers.

Always clean, organized and checkout moves quickly. Be careful if looking online before visiting, not all items are stocked in all stores.

I just wanted to take a second to shout out Liam who was so friendly and helpful and was making sure the busy drive up time was running as smooth as possible. He’s legit, I’d hire him but he seems to be really happy in his position here so I won’t steal him this time haha. Thank you Liam!

The guy that helped me at Customer pickup/returns made it the most professional, the easiest, the friendliest and fastest return experience I’ve ever had. Give this guy a raise or consider him for a promotion!

Nice store a lot of options in reference to hygiene access cosmetics. Loved how that department was laid out and they even had Dan's food fragrances... Reminded me of Ulta... Also got a great deal on socks for my son.

Gilbert has become so uppity that not even Target accepts certain manufacturer coupons. I’ve had the same issue with the nearby Sprouts. I remember Gilbert before it became infested with snobs.

Me and my son went on 09/12/23 and was looking for a movie titled Beetlejuice. I found one and I was wondering if they have the Halloween edition. The associate ( a heavy set guy with long hair) was sitting down on the floor putting price tags on so I asked if he can do a stock check for me. Without even standing up, he just said that "he" is very aware of what's i. Stock and he said that there was only 2 copies and it was sold out a while ago. To my amazement, he doesn't even know that I have one on hand. I asked another gentleman for his name and he said his name was Cal. Just blows me away on how lazy this guy was not even trying to stand up. Very bad customer service there buddy. No wonder this store has bad reviews.

When I returned an item just a few days after purchasing it (tags still on and in perfect condition) Target would not refund me the amount I paid for the product but instead refunded the new (lesser) “market value.”
