Popped in for a few items and water for our hotel room as we were in town for a wedding. It's your everyday Walmart where I get to scan, bag and check out my own items. The young lady monitoring the area was very helpful. Asked if she knew where the closest Chase bank was and she pulled out her phone and checked for us (very kind). We ended up getting cash with our purchase so that was convenient and with no service fee too boot.

Buyer Beware, Walmart has wrong prices on food and electronics. When you check out prices may be higher. Have you noticed your Walmart bill increased. Also customer service is terrible at Gilbert store, they don't know what is going on and make policy up on the fly. Example purchase made and decided it wrong, went to customer service and told must wait 24 hours before returning. Walmart has no such policy on receipt, it clearly state you have 30 days to return. On 1/12/24 while in waiting line there was handicap man in scooter in front of me trying to return Kitchen mix master. He was dealing with male store manager who was very rude and condescending to this senior citizen. The man was refused return and given no choices, that manager needs to be let go, Sam Walton would have fired him on the spot. We need to reconsider Walmart, if you check Fry's sales and coupons and Aldi's you can save same or more. Gilbert Walmart needs a new manger who respects costomers and trains staff properly.

Bought a gift card at this location and what do you know my kid tried using it and it was never activated and they basically said I am SOL and there is nothing they can do.

The store greeters are always friendly, store is well stocked for being a high traffic shopping district, and the self-checkout staff keeps it humming. Best time to shop is early morning, not a ton of shoppers, the store is being restocked, so lots of helpful employees that know where to find things, and no lines at the checkout. Or you can pay for Walmart+ and have everything delivered to your door.

Not for the Walmart itself, but the Wetzel's inside. I tried going there to redeem a reward that for some reason wouldn't show on the app. When I told the employee working, they seemed to not care and gave the impression that I should leave. I had to awkwardly ask if they could ask another employee what I could do, and the other employee only offered 50% off. Also, when I walked up to the counter there was no greeting and there was nothing when I left. I usually love Wetzel's but the workers here make it suck. There wasn't anyone else in line! If their goal is to drive away customers, it sure works...

Absolutely infuriating having to wait for several employees - as in 7 different employees just chatting and walking past the same aisle- that were called to open the lock at the Beauty aisle. Each one claimed to go to the front of the store for some keys and I never saw them again. Had to do the job myself. Once again, Walmart makes a one item stop and shop into an unnecessary time consuming ordeal.

Don't do grocery pick up here. I picked up today.. Moldy and bruised OLD fruit. Expired chips and no water, despite the store having stock inside. The rest of the store is a nice experience at Walmart. It's clean, friendly, and usually well stocked. The GROCERY PICKUP needs SERIOUS work to be acceptable.

Walmart has corn bread and cube stuffing for about two dollars and fifty eight cents before tax. Whenever I go to Walmart it tends to be crowded with lots of people. The lines are always long. I have yet to go and be the only person in line. I need to figure out when it will be less crowded. They have self check out which is nice. The parking lot is always a hassle for me too. Seems like people don't look when they are backing up they car. They have lots of items for sale. The range of items they sell is shocking.

Bought a jacket for $46, as I was walking out, saw it was 30 on line so I came back in and asked for a price match. They said no so he offered to purchase it online at the listed price and return the jacket in person and they said they could not give me the jacket and I would have to wait 3 1/2 hours for the online pick up order to process when I am holding the jacket in my hand currently. Corporate policy blah blah blah.

went in 15 minutes before close to grab mascara (knew exactly where it was and what i wanted). got stopped halfway to the aisle and was told that i could no longer grab items to purchase and i had to head to the front and checkout or leave. i tried explaining i just wanted to grab a tube of mascara and the employee rudely cut me off saying it didn't matter and i needed to start leaving because they were closing in 15 minutes. if it's not yet 11 or 5 minutes to close, the employees should not try to kick someone out of the store. unbelievable
