The park is a beautiful desert place with a nice walking trail and a paved trail that extends up to the side of 202. The walkway is fully wheelchair accessible and the picnic shelter was clean. People watch wildlife and coyote, owls, birds and beautiful desert flower. The path is quiet and scenic but a bit noisy due to proximity to the freeway ramp. There are ramadas, walling trails and a great little dirt natural place. No restrooms but the park is a good place to walk a dog or enjoy nature.
We were looking for burrowing owls, but it was probably too late in the morning. The walkway is beautiful and is fully wheelchair accessible. The picnic shelter was clean.

We love walking here (even after they added the freeway ramp ). It's not as quiet and scenic as before, but it's still a really nice walking park!
April 2024
The closest thing to nature around these parts and we thoroughly enjoy it. Saw a coyote today and lots of beautiful wildlife. Sometimes just looking closely at a flower is all you need to melt away some stress from the week.
