They offer appointments every 10-15 minutes online, however, they have ONE doctor on staff, with loads of people waiting. We waited our turn and it took TWO hours! If you want a cheap prescription, go here. But if you value your time, go to Nationwide.

I went in as a walk in and they took care of me right away i got my exam and picked out my glasses all in one visit . when i went in to pick up my glasses i didnt have to wait long at all Joanne helped me and didnt let me leave till i was completely satisfied with the fit of my glasses. I love my glasses!

I would like to recognize Dorothy for providing an amazing service , from the moment that we called to make the appointment She was great and to the moment we finally met her to check in it and she was effortless , hospitable , took care of us, and even went to the extra mile to help us find the perfect pair of glasses . customer service is a dying trait, however, Dorthy still gives us hope. If it was possible to give no stars I would. This place should not have best anywhere in the name or description. I was told I could pick my glasses up today so I went in at 10:30 am and was told they were not there. They were scheduled to be there in today's shipment which would be sometime in the afternoon. They said they would text me when they were ready. Would have been nice to know that instead of "You can pick them up on the 13th." No time of day given or mention of a text message which I'm sure they do text you when they are done. Still when you tell someone that they can get them on a certain day then that's the way it should be. I took time off from work to do this cause people have to work. I was told "It's probably safer to pick them up tomorrow." Great but that's not what I was told. I will just take another day off from or more time off from work for your convenience because obviously they are the customer in this situation. Not saying that every location is this way but this place is a joke. Drive out of your way or whatever to save yourself a hassle or being given wrong information. I never give bad reviews. Especially with extensive detail but my God what an inconvenience and a hassle. The lady even acted like it was no big deal at all. Worst service I have ever experienced at a medical type business or service. If I could have given a review without hitting a star I would. Place is 20 miles from where I live. If the glasses get there on the 13th then tell people the 14th. Don't say ready on the 13th unless they are ready and gonna be there on that day.

I called ahead to purchase contacts from a recent Rx. When I arrived my contacts were on the counter waiting for me.. Dorothy and Brittney were very helpful, engaging, and pleasant. Give them more money.?

Americas best deer valley verified my insurance. They left me a voice-mail saying my appt was covered but that I'd have to pay for my contacts or glasses. I called her back and verified I heard what I'd be charged for and confirmed the appt. I ended up rescheduling to this America's best location on bell and 72nd ave cause its alot closer to home.I'm a single mom behind on rent. This is the one thing I'm allowing myself to do for me. So I TRIPLE verified all costs."Anna" at the front desk VERIFIED that my appt was covered AGAIN when i walked in.So I do the appt.Then they start telling me AFTER about charges for the APPT $10 fee for this $50 for that...none of this was stated BEFOREHAND when I had asked. I had a budget of $120. So I play the voice-mail stating no charge for my appt. And I point at the lady (anna) that literally told me less than 20 min ago that there was no charge for this appt.Here's the kicker, I ask for who is in charge and I waved hi at her and made a motion with my hand for her to come over and asked verbally at the same time "can i have a manager come over PLEASE". She then didn't like my "gesture" and told me no that she didn't want to be asked that way. Wow. What? Seriously? If she can't handle being asked for, how is she going to address my issue? PLAY IT ON CAMERA. IT WAS NOTHING RUDE AT ALL. She stood there arguing with me about how she was called. I just kept repeating 3 times "I said PLEASE. How is that rude"She finally came over and told me she couldn't fix it and that I'd be liable even tho I had asked about pricing. That the front girl "Anna" was new and didn't know what she was talking about. I said I did my due diligence and asked multiple times on the phone and in person on pricing. Im on limited funds. She said it didn't matter, it's just not the pricing. She said that they needed to do better training but I Still owed, and they aren't going to fix it. At THAT point is when I got heated. Are you kidding me?So it's Sunday, I have to wait for a REAL manager tomorrow. I am not happy and will never be coming back here for me or my kids. I literally was going to schedule both my kids since I had issues with nationwide vision. The dilation drops they used on my daughter kept her eyes dilated just over a full week and she wound up in the ER twice and had to finish out treatment at a Nationwide vision medical center in downtown.So I was gonna switch them here to Americas Best but i guess this place is a no go either. They can't get their stuff together, and have employees that can't read benefits info correctly. My kids have the same plan I do so it would've been a go had this place not completely mishandled my appt and prescription. All I want is what was quoted and for us to be able to see. I came here thinking. Finally I'm doing something for me. All the struggle I've had but this time i was taking care of me. One UP to my many downs. NOPE.So today I left with nothing but a trial pair. They even refused giving me my prescription. So I can't even go elsewhere after they tried to screw me. I left in tears. This is what a single mom gets for trying to allot a budget to finally do something for herself. It wasn't hair or nails or a nice hair cut... .It was a waste of gas, a waste of time, and ruined my day off. Seriously NEVER EVER dealing with this place again. Never go here. Lack of customer service, lack of knowledge,and lack of common human decency.The stand in "manager" for the weekend was the worst. Have you ever heard of de-escalation? She literally made everything worse by acting like i was unreasonable from the get go. This issue should've been addressed and dealt with on a humane level before I left. ZERO stars.A reminder that eyeglasses and contacts are a LIFETIME problem. So you lost 3 lifetime customers between my 2 kids and I. Hopefully others read this review and run elsewhere as well.

My experience was phenomenal. Very respectful, professional, and very helpful. I would recommend everyone I know to come to this store. All the staff so friendly and made me feel so comfortable.

Forget this place!!! Don't come here if you've never been. Especially this location. I went In 2 weeks ago and got their deal that they have for 79 dollars for 2 pairs. Well it ended up being 223 for my 2 pairs and that was with the cheap frames. I had to get stronger lenses than the plastic ones that come with that deal and it ended up being more. But it's not that, that makes me say don't come here. The reason I won't come here again is because they can't even get someone's prescription right, even with there machines. They hire REMOTE DOCTORS to take your eye exam and they dont even know how to use the equipment. During the whole appointment he kept fidgeting with the machine and was not confident at all about what he was doing, and still gave me the prescription. I came in today 1/31/24 to pick up my glasses. Went and talked to the lady up front and she started fitting me for my glasses. As soon as I put them on I knew something was wrong. So I told her they were blurry and she said "no they're not you just need to let your eyes adjust to the new glasses". So I started to close one eye at a time and my right lens was perfect but my left lens was horrific! It felt like I was crossing my eyes when I put them on. And I said I cannot accept these they are not right. And the lady at the counter kept trying to persuade me to take them and I said no. It felt like they were trying to push them on me even though they weren't right and that felt really wrong. Almost like they were trying to trap me with the messed up glasses. Then she just kept being rude the whole interaction. So ended up making a new appointment for the next day and I asked to speak with a manager. I waited there for about 30 minutes for a manager to come out but they said that they were too busy. I am appalled by this place, these employees, and the service I received! I really just want my money back at this point and don't think I'll be coming back after this ordeal that they put me through. If your used to nationwide, eyglassworld, etc.... go there instead. AMERICAS BEST VISION more like AMERICA'S WORST VISION

New review! Last time I went through this company was 5 years ago and I didn't come back for a reason. I decided to give them another chance and I now instantly regret it. I got new glasses a month ago apparently it has been over a month and there is a defect in both lenses. I spoke to the really nice receptionist who I talked to before who talked to her manager, the manager had an attitude for one with a snippy tone, strike one, then told me a 30 day warranty starts the day of my exam and purchase of my glasses, first off after like a 2 weeks of waiting and not even being notified that they were in and me calling MANY times I had to drive out of my way to check and ultimately get them. How can a warranty be used before you even have the glasses? And the fact I should have 2 days extra to get them exchanged being that they just sat here with no notice to me. The manager in a snippy tone says "what do you want me to do". I told her she did not need to get snippy with me. She said we could replace the lenses which would charge me and that's not fair in any shape way or form. 2 weeks of this 30 day exchange was when I did not even have them yet and she said its more for if you decide you want different glasses as if I'm going to come in each day to browse and say "you know what I want these different ones". Makes NO sense. I will not be back to any Americas Best locations and will find a different eye place, you guys should not act like your the only ones out there. Poor customer service, no proper resolution and a manager that does not have a care. Now I'm stu k with defective glasses that I can't use and cost me over 100 dollars. Thanks again Americas Best!

I have been a customer with America's Best for over 25 years, but the last two times I have visited this store to get new eyeglasses, my prescription/order was mishandled.In September 2022, the pair I received was not what I had asked (they were red - I would not own red glasses), and when I tried to tell customer service that this one of the two pairs ordered didn't look right - like it was someone else's prescription, she said it was just because it was progressive, and the color can vary from what was on the display, and I'd get used to it. I ended up never using that pair.This visit, 12/8/23, I received a new, non-progressive prescription for which I bought two different frames. Dropped there today to pickup contacts and glasses. They tried to give me two pairs of the same frame, (again, not what I ordered) and told me my contacts weren't ready. They then told me to go pick out new frames and they'd have to get them made again - another 3 weeks with no lenses, so I asked for my $$ back. While I thought the Dr. on 12/8 was very personable, I don't think I'll be shopping here again with the front of house staff being so bad. That's two times I did not receive what I ordered, and they really don't seem to care. It shouldn't be this hard, and I have NEVER had an issue with America's Best in the past.
