Thank you to James, for being the first (and only) person to contact me from Arizona Central Credit Union regarding this. Unfortunately, the contact from James was asking me to reach out via email so they can find a time to speak with me in person. Shockingly, despite following the instructions noone reached out to me. Arizona Central Credit Union has now successfully avoided speaking to me long enough that my account was billed the extra fee. Well done. As I said earlier, I cannot wait to be rid of the joke that is Arizona Central Credit Union.

Update. I really believe this should be a news story. Banks are supposed to protect their customers especially from a police officer that solicit for cash while on the bank property. I'm thinking about making a news story out of this I've got some friends at work at a local TV station. When a bank employs a police officer to be at the branch to protect the customer the bank should make sure the police officer does not solicit their customers for cash. Yes the more I think about it it should be a new story. It's funny how the Arizona Central credit union has somebody responding to all of the reviews to get posted. But they refuse to protect the customers when their customers walk in the branch of their choice. Maybe that's why the Arizona Central credit union has all of these negative reviews.

ATM wouldn't even take my card, didn't make the sound it makes when it grabs the card, I was able to just take my card out no resistance

I was working away from home and needed to wire money under a short deadline. Brett (Manager) and Brittany (Teller) were all over this request and made it happen quickly. THANK YOU for your help with my critical situation. Wonderful job ACCU!

Appreciate the open and helpful attitude of front line and management (even when most are on vacation)! They quickly resolved an issue that Bank of Arizona could not help with with in over an hour’s time (even though they were the institution’s “sister” bank). Highly recommend this branch. Have banked with them for over 20 years and will not be leaving! Thank you!

Office manager very unprofessional, he has no simply for customers. Bank tellers are very slow, waited in line for over 25 minutes. You can only be seen in the branch if you are a new member only. I don't recommend the location on Bell and 69th Ave!

I've been with them for 28 years. Overall, good service. On to the complaints....I used to go to the I-17 branch, conveniently located on my way home from work. Closed about 10 years ago. Bell road location used to be open on Saturdays, they stopped that about 5 years ago. This was very helpful when you just couldn't get there in time on Friday. Not enough locations, none open on Saturdays.

I have banked here over 10 years. I tried applying for a mortgage and felt very rushed and was offered few options. When I responded that I am disappointed as I wanted to stay loyal to them, I received no response. I have since received numerous offers from other lenders who seem very eager for my business. A housing counselor even told me the offer I was given here makes no sense considering my profile. Once I do move I will likely switch to a bank that treats me like a person and not just another application.

When AZ businesses started to close due to the COVID19 pandemic, there was some concern that my husband was going to be out of work. I called AZ central to see what the options are for Skip Payments. I was advised I could complete one, then got a call back stating they had revoked it. Then, in order to grant the Skip, they wanted an in detail breakdown of my exact hardship because “they don’t want people to take advantage of them and their Skip Pay program”. Going through my inbox, these are just some of the offers from other companies. You know what I got from AZ Central? A condescending email about managing my savings account. Credit Union West - 3 Skip Payments, and they just renewed their Skips for ANOTHER 3, no questions asked. Hardship loans available as well. USAA - Payment deferments and waived late feesWells Fargo - Payment deferments and hardship loansChase - payment deferments and hardship loansCredit First - payment deferments and hardship loansI sincerely regret financing my loan with this company.
