Slow service! They’ve got one teller with a line of 15 customers and that should tell you how careless they are

If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service sucks, the branch manager is rude and definitely not customer-focused.

Bank of America is probably the worst bank EVER! When it comes to getting cash. BofA makes it near impossible to withdraw/cash or cash a check. They ask ridiculous questions that is none of their business , why i want my cash. Take note BofA is known for making it difficult to get your cash dollars. It has nothing to do with race or who you are. It's the BofA way.

So I opened a bank account with Bank of America and deposited $2,000 into my savings and was happy and proud to have a new bank account with a savings account that I could access. Have some longevity with a bank that I may perhaps need a mortgage with one day. However, when I arrive 3 months into having the account at the bank to either cash or deposit the check for my latest payroll, they told me the only way I could cash my check was if I had available funds exceeding the amount of the check in my account. A older white woman whose name I believe was Christy or something with the k was very concise but rude in the manner. She was telling me the bank operated then told me I should go to Chase up the street and cash the check. So you're telling me a check cashing place can do it for $6 yet? The bank that I have an account with that I have deposited checks with in the past that have cleared from the same company cannot be cashed with my bank, and the suggestion of the teller is for me to go to the bank that's on my check and talk to them about cashing the check so that I have funds available. Available. With the price of everything I do not have available funds from week to week. I have a 6-month-old daughter and a family to raise like most of America, so I don't know if this kind of business is typical for banks. I feel it is not. I feel that they're is another option or perhaps a better one or a way it could have been explained to me so that I understood better and didn't feel slighted and pushed off to a bank that I don't bank with now. Question to anybody reading this is typical banking practice. If I have a chime account they will literally charge me a dollar to deposit the funds and they will be available. And they will charge me nothing if I have direct deposit.

Horrible service, couldn't be bothered to help me replace an expired debit card and kept referring me to the customer support number. Not a bank I want to keep doing business with

The manager at this particular branch Francisco Rocha Cortez should be terminated immediately or he should be demoted to the teller line! This man is too emotional to be a leader, he lets his feelings get in the way and this prevents him from doing his job properly. He stated to me that they no longer take handwritten checks at this particular branch. What about all the people that don’t have a computer or a printer and they are not able to print out a check….. then what happens to these unfortunate people. Between Francisco and Daisy I don’t know which one had worse customer service it’s a tossup they were both terrible! This is the second time I’ve had to leave this establishment without them cashing my check and the crazy thing is I go to a different Bank of America and wait for it yes wait for it they actually cash the check with a smile on their face. Last but not least the man told me…….first there was a stop payment on my check so he was not able to cash it which is crazy because I did not put a stop payment on any check, second he tells me that my signature does not match the signature card FYI I’ve been a member since 1983 I probably signed four or five signature cards (so I guess) it is up to the tellers interpretation whether or not the signature matches perfectly …..third he tells me he can’t verify who I am even though my cell phone number is on file for ID confirmation so after I debunked all three of his excuses he hits me with a fourth excuse of why he cannot cash this check and again he tells me it is because the check has been hand written. Then the man stated to me that there has been no handwritten checks on this account in the past 12 months… That sounds crazy to me because I write checks by hand every month so in the past 12 months he should’ve been able to find several hand written examples. Bottom line the Bank of America at 43rd Ave. and olive is one of the worst branches I have ever visited . Now I’m not seeing everybody in there is terrible but most definitely the two I mentioned above Daisy (teller)and Francisco (manager)Definitely need some work. And when I say some I mean a lot they need so much work I’m never going back to this branch ever ever ever again. To put this into perspective I know this sounds harsh but I might rather go on a submarine trip to the titanic then go into this branch.

I went in to this branch and was treated terrible by Daisy and the branch manager. This bank will restrict access to your own money. I think I was discriminated against because of the color of my skin. I have been a customer for 30 years and came to this branch and talked to Daisy. She immediately had an attitude and treated me differently. She gave me anxiety so bad I started to cry. This branch will treat you like dirt and provides discriminatory service based on the color of your skin.-Traumatized human
