Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is a preferred hospital that has served the community for over 25 years. It is a Level I Adult Trauma Center for patients 15 and older. Many patients report phenomenal, excellent, and fantastic care from attentive, professional, and caring doctors and nurses. The staff is described as amazing, wonderful, supportive, and adept, with excellent bedside manner. They make patients feel heard, respected, and treated like a human in need, not a nuisance. Specific departments receive high praise. In Labor and Delivery, experiences are rated 10/10 from triage through recovery. The pediatric emergency and inpatient care is also highlighted as exceptional, with a dedicated, clean pediatric space, phenomenal nurses, and efficient diagnosis and treatment. The trauma center receives positive feedback for skilled and gentle treatment. Overall, the hospital is seen as a very healthy and efficiently run establishment where respectful care extends between colleagues as well. While the vast majority of feedback is extremely positive, noting very satisfied patients, there are rare mentions of a staff member displaying an unfriendly tone, improper decorum, or a condescending demeanor, which contrasts sharply with the otherwise compassionate care. The hospital is widely recommended for its excellent patient care across services, making health care easier so life can be better.
Wonderful birth experience. Dr Lee and nurse Taylor were exceptionally kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I couldn’t imagine it going any smoother and am so grateful to them and the team for getting me fairly calmly through my first birth. Thank you so so much!!!
