I was there for my 2 year olds birthday and the cashier was so rude and acted like she hated being at work. She purposely had her name tag turned around so we couldn’t see what her name was. When you work with kids atleast put on a face that you’re happy to be there.

I took my son to Build-A-Bear for the first time today and Wendy made it such a wonderful experience! She was kind, patient, and so engaging with him, letting him pick out every detail and making him feel so special. It truly brought me so much joy to watch. Thank you Wendy for making his first Build-A-Bear visit such a memorable one! 💚

It was my first time ever going into Build A Bear! Employees were friendly and very helpful! The customers also were friendly! It made it easier while standing for an hour to get the bear stuffed. Absolutely will be back, with my other grandsons.

I came in with my daughter because it was her birthday. We specifically came today for the discount. Again, on her birthday...
My daughter and I asked the woman at door what we need to do to qualify and she told us to just pick any bear and go through the process and they will discount it at checkout.
We get to the register and it came out to almost $100 for a very basic bear. No addons except clothes...
I informed the cashier it was a birthday and she said that only 1 particular bear qualified for the discount. I told her that was not mentioned to me and she called the manager over.
She then gave me a price of over $50 for a plain bear with zero extras.
Manager then told us that myself AND my daughter were lying, that we were never told that...
I know what I heard and my daughter knows what she heard...
Needless to say we left without buying it on the principle of them blatantly misleading us to force full price to keep my child from crying.
I can't imagine how many other people they misled and basically forced these parents to pay full price when they were clearly expected the very well known birthday discount.
Pure evil intentions.
FYI, I would have had absolutely NO problem paying the actual price but once this manager said myself and my daughter were lying, I was never going to give them a penny.
That is blatantly misleading customers.

So cuuute!!! Friendly staff, & lg selection of teddy bear. Only sm & medium sizes tho. Wife is a stingy nut case & made herself 1 & we made a squirrel for the grandkid & got a passport with birth certificate with the bear & flying squirrel

My brother and I visited Build-A-Bear to get a graduation gift for his girlfriend, and we had a fantastic experience. Jamie assisted us throughout the process and provided outstanding service — she was kind, patient, and made everything so easy and fun. It was my first time ever in a Build-A-Bear Workshop, and thanks to Jamie, I’ll definitely be coming back to make a bear for myself!

The staff was super nice and accommodating, but the store layout is horrible. The recording station is right next to the filling station. When I initially went, I had added a recorded message to my bear but upon hearing it at home, there was so much background noise. I chalked it up to being super busy and loud at the store because it was the weekend. I went back a few days later arriving right when the store opened.
The staff opened the bear so I could re-record the message in the bear. Again, all the background noise picked up. This was despite there being only two people plus staff in the store. The problem is that cthere is always people speaking at the filling station (reasonably so, as they complete the cute bear stuffing process) and the noise from the machine itself.
However, I will now be going to a different location all together to get the message recorded a 3rd time. When the store was at it's previous location at the mall, this wasn't an issue. I am annoyed that I have to make a 3rd trip for this. I urge anyone that wants to include a recorded message in their stuffed animal to go to a different location. Again, the store staff and everything else was great. I get the staff have no say in the how the layout was, just want to give others a heads up.
