I needed to get some documents on a closed account.I had with Credit Union West.and I really had the best customer service experience, they were helpful, efficient and courteous.although I no longer am a customer.I look forward to using them for business matters in the future.

Multiple times the tellers were rude making me wait three or four minutes when no one else was in line. They were otherwise occupied on their computers. Rude!! This location only

Ron the manager met us at the door, quickly assesed our problem. Had us sit down with him and he proceeded to fix the problem at hand. Thanks, Ron you really helped us out of a tight spot. Very cordial, and polite.

We absolutely love Credit Union West as they’ve been a wonderful creditor and checking and savings account company for us. However, the last two weeks in our efforts to open business accounts, they seem to be very lost, and unskilled in their ability to service our needs. Even to the point of rescheduling, an appointment to reconvene only for us to find out that day scheduled the wrong time. The branch manager and team on 67th Ave. seems very lost when it comes to business service.

This bank does not even deserve 1 star. It deserves a negative for all I care. Worst bank!!!!! I have money in my account and the bank froze my account. I can't even buy gas. It's hard enough as a single parent but seriously? I'm going to close this bank immediately!!!!! I already closed my child's account but I can't even access my own checking! This bank is a JOKE!

I wrote a review on May 6, 2023 regarding the inconsistent policies of Credit Union West. The first check had a 7 business day hold placed on it by management. The second check had a 9 day hold placed on it which was May 12, 2023. Today is May 12th and still the hold is on my account. The check i deposited was on my other Business account at Chase, and it cleared on May 3rd. The management of this organization have totally lost sight on the fact that the credit union is owned by the Members. Board of Directors of the Credit Union are elected by the Members. The management of Credit Union West appear to be like some large banks and not demonstrate the philosophy and actions of a Co-Op!! Credit Unions were originally a Co-Op, formed to compete with Ruthless Banks and assist ALL Members with their financial needs! Credit Union West has lost it's self along the way. They are in it for the money, not to work on behalf of their membership!

I’ve never had issues with Credit Union West, until I was recently late on my credit card payment by 1 days. When I noticed, I immediately made the payment, but since I pay by external transfer, I missed the cut off but 1 hour, which ultimately made my payment one day late. When I called to see if they could do a courtesy late fee reversal, I was told they don’t do that, unless there is a credit union error. I escalated the issue, and got nowhere. I find it extremely odd, since I’ve worked in the financial and industry for about 15 years and I have never heard of a company not offering at least a one time courtesy fee reversal. I had never been late on a payment in the year I’ve had the account, and had even made extra payments prior months. So it’s extremely disheartening to know that my credit union doesn’t offer any type of courtesy to customers when a human error is made.

We added a POA with Veronica. She was very nice and helped us with adding our son to the account. Ginger the Manager was very friendly and welcomed us in. Great service with friendly help!
