I would give it a 5 because this store and the staff are great. Best thrift store in the whole metro area. The reason for the 2 stars is very important. I was there on Monday 10/16. The normal store level staff was excellent as always. There were some other employees there. They appeared to be executive and had LDS names badges on. They were extremely rude to the store staff. A cashier had to call a manager to assist one of them and they were visibly agitated and impatient. One of the ladies, middle aged with brown hair looked like she was about to lose her mind.Props to the store employees. But I’m sorry you have to work for a group that is disrespectful and non Christian like.

Same people standing waiting on new carts to come back. Rushing each cart to pick and resell. My Gf was walking with our daughter and got terrified by a group of people who rushed towards her when she was looking at a cart. (Not safe at all) there should be rules for people like this. It’s pretty annoying and ruins the experience. Managers need to do better.

My new favorite thrift store! The store smelled good, looked neat-everything was arranged by color. I found bags of nice clothes for our child. I will definitely be coming back to this thrift store.

Great prices, organized very well, overall great experience and will come back again! I got 8 items under 30 dollars! The fitting rooms are always clean as well as their bathrooms. The staff members are very kind and helpful! This store is better than Goodwill.

Nicest, cleanest thrift store I've ever been to. Staff is very friendly.

These stores are great. Most items are $4 to $6. This is a Mormon ministry so items are usually always washed and or brand new.

They have a work program. You need to get a referral from the LDS Bishop in your area to work there. They make you a better employee, train you, send you back to school & have counselors to guide you!

Never ever compare Deseret Industries to GoodWill. Yes, both are thrift stores but DI is so much nicer, cleaner, cheaper & helpful. You can try clothes on, which you can't at GoodWill anymore. You can return with in 7 days but if you can try on things shouldn't have to return! The store covers all bases of life style. From A- Z. No one day is better then the other as they put new stuff daily, all day long. It's my go to thrift store. 5

As someone who worked there for almost 3 years, don't shop at this place.By shopping at this DI, you are supporting a really bad and incompetent management and supervisor team (most of the blue-aprons), including an unethical armchair therapist who promotes an unsafe, toxic working environment, plays favorites, is unusually tolerant towards sexual harassment and bullying (they let that happen for almost 5 months), and does not care about their employees or their well-being.With that said, not all of them were bad and a couple of them were actually good people who actually tried to help us red-aprons find better jobs and succeed. And I met good people, learned, and had some good times too.Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives.I don't know how effective my review will be and there's a lot of stuff I can say and I was definitely not the only person they treated like garbage and disregarded, but remember what I said if you decide to go shopping here. It's a real pity too. This place can do a LOT of good and many of the red-aprons who work there need help. Maybe if things change and people are held accountable, I would recommend it.

They’re good staff and all, but if you’re older than 18, they don’t check twice if you’re actually one you’re applying, and if you’re older than 18, they don’t take counselor confidentiality very serious.
