We were grateful that Jonathan in the Arrowhead store spent time with us to select a suitable fabric to reupholster our two Ethan Allen swivel chairs. However, we were disappointed that Ethan Allen does not contract with or even recommend a local upholsterer to restore their furniture.
Jonathan helped us to purchase a better grade of material from Ethan Allen than we found locally...once the fabric arrived, we finalized our decision on a local upholsterer to do the work. It is still a better proposition to reupholster quality furniture as opposed to replacing with new as ALL newer furniture is not of the same quality as that of the past.
If we feel that the appearance and quality of their work is equal to how our chairs were when new, we will pass on our upholsterer's name to Jonathan to assist other Ethan Allen furniture owners who wish to have their furniture reupholstered.

Sherrie Verville is an amazing designer at Ethan Allen. She understood my vision for our home. She helped with the arrangement of the furniture, the selection of fabrics, the draperies, wallpaper, accessories, down to the color of paint. She made our house a home.

Sherrie was very professional and seemed to care about us and our needs. She came to our home and made suggestions. She measured to make sure things would fit properly. The floorplans were very helpful. I was an interior designer for 30 years and I sometimes want a second opinion. I would highly recommend Sherrie and Ethan Allen! We really appreciated that the furniture is made in the US.

We have had the great good fortune to work with Sherrie Verville over the past 10 years. She is our “go to” person at Ethan Allen. She has created the most gorgeous home for us. She has the most unique talent of truly understanding her clients style and what they want to achieve. We can literally pick up the phone and tell her what we might want to change/freshen and she know immediately what we need. When we meet she has the options ready for us and she always creates something more beautiful than we could have imagined.
We have a lovely home that is welcoming and warm all because of Sherrie and her exceptional talent. She is outstanding at listening and really building relationships. We called her recently because we wanted to change a few things and again she created something gorgeous.
When people walk into our home, we ALWAYS receive compliments about how gorgeous it is.
We also appreciate. Sherrie’s ability to understand we have some EA pieces we purchased/customized many years ago and want to keep. She will always work to accommodate Australian.
Sherrie is more than an exemplar designer for EA, we think of her as a dear friend and can pick up 4 yrs since our last changes and it feels like it was only recently. She is a WONDER!

Buyer beware! We like the china cabinet we purchased from Ethan Allen, but when it was delivered, the delivery service did not install it completely. It was out of alignment both vertically and horizontally. It looked awful. The delivery staff did not know how to correct the problem and left; leaving a furniture dolly on our front porch. I called the salesperson and they promised that they would have technicians come to our house and complete the alignment. That was 3 weeks ago and no one has called. I even returned the furniture dolly to the store. The sales person said that I would receive a call soon, but that hasn't happened. I won't be buying any more furniture from Ethan Allen.
NEW: It's been over 1 year since we purchased the china cabinets from Ethan Allen. The delivery and setup was $300. I called repeatedly, but they never sent anyone to set up the cabinets correctly. I suggested that they pay me $200 to have the cabinets setup and they agreed. However, they never sent a check. I called them several times and then gave up. I ended up setting up the cabinets myself as best I could. They lost out since I have purchased more furniture totaling over $20,000. They never saw a dime of it. And all they had to do was the right thing.
They talked the talk, but didn't walk the walk.

I've been working with Sherrie Verville since December 2023 after my 14 month total demo and reno of my house was finished and had absolutely no furniture at all.....This is the first time I used a professional designer and I hit the jackpot when Sherrie answered the phone that day.....She has honestly been the true measure of top notch customer service....No task too big to tackle attitude...Goes above and behind at every turn...A true talented professional who knows her craft meticulously....She knows every option available that Ethan Allen has to offer... Absolute pleasure to do business with....She came to every delivery I had to make sure my pieces were placed perfectly...right down to the pillows.....She took care of every detail and because of her I wasn't worried about anything and I could relax and enjoy the process....

Sherrie Verville was absolutely amazing to work with! I have never worked with a home interior decorator before, so I was really grateful for all of her help! From our initial meeting, to planning, and the delivery, she was there for every step. She always responded to my tons of questions promptly and made the process easy and fun. We love everything she has helped us with and will continue to help us with in the future! We would recommend her to everyone.

Excellent experience all the way around!!! I the craftsmanship, design choices and assistance, etc. Glad they are still keeping some traditional pieces for those of us that like that style. :)
