"Walk-ins Welcome" it states on the door. "OPEN" the sign says. Walk up to the front door and it's locked. Then someone opens it and there's only ONE person working. Then she tells me to make an appointment. The whole reason why I drove from Anthem to Glendale was to have the luxury of just walking in. Don't advertise walk-in available if it's not.

Buyer beware. For an easy small business tax form I thought I would be charged around $270 and I was charged $496 for 1 hour of simple tax preparation. I suggest shopping around or attempt to file yourself.
I usually file myself through TurboTax and I thought I made a mistake somewhere with the amount I owed so decided to try H&R Block, I actually did do my taxes correctly but that's okay. I'm a first-time small business owner so I decided to use H&R Block and it will be the last time.

Katrenia is a great tax pro she's knowledgeable professional patient and cares about her clients and their refunds assuring she gets them the best results. I will continue to file with her and H&R in the future coming years.

Paid $195 for my taxes to be done only to have 0 help in paying the close to $1200 I owe the IRS. The IRS website is unavailable to make a payment and HR Block gives no resolution other than "mail a check". Joke of customer service. Will not return again.

I had my 2021 taxes completed in February 2022. It is currently April 2023 and I have not received my refund. I have called this H&R Block location multiple times and talked to different people and nobody has been able to help me or even follows up beyond telling me to check 'where's my refund' on the IRS website (I have checked the website, my refund status has not been updated for over a year). Additionally I stopped into the office in person and was just told to leave my phone number. I have also filed a customer complaint with H&R Block customer service. They also did not get back to me and when I called to check the status today I was told they can't do anything to help me. I understand at this point it is in the IRS' hands however I spent over $300 to have my taxes done and it is extremely frustrating that nobody from H&R Block is willing to help me investigate why at this point it has been 14 months since I have filed and have no refund.

H&R Block's knowledge, experience, and expediency in discussing a variety of diverse tax issues, obtaining the largest amount of federal and state deductions, and, most importantly, performing professional services in a very individualistic and personal manner were greatly appreciated. I was able to discuss a full year of complicated issues and reach an extremely positive resolution in less than an hour! Well Done H&R Block!

Absolutely amazing place to get your taxes done, obliterated my mountain of tax papers with the efficiency of a tiger verses a Happy Meal. They are some smart fast cookies working here and I'm happy they were there to help me out.
