Every candy we picked up was expired or looked very old. The ones we purchased that weren’t “expired” tasted gross!

Came to get some candy. Got $22 worth of candy including sour punch straw bites. 2 different flavors and bags. DISAPPOINTED there is NO sour sugar on these candy’s and they literally taste like flavored licorice. They really should try harder but I guess if they get their money they don’t care.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE . We were drawn in by the caramels with the soft white center that were right at the entrance. They were stale and hard as was all the other candy we purchased. Purchased a closed package of candy and realized once home that it expired back on 4/12/23. The place should be shut down. The cashier sat on her phone and never looked up until I greeted her at the register after standing there for about 30 seconds. All candy went in the trash. Total waste of $17.

How in the world is this place still open? I was worried no one would believe me since I didn't get a picture (I kinda threw the candy when I saw it) but now I realize I'm not the only one with this issue. First, everything has an off texture to it. Everything was just extremely hard, we bought mostly soft and chewy candy. Well, today I found a maggot in one of the Laffy Taffy I bought (specifically the green apple flavor). That's when I came to the reviews here and learned the hard way to Google something before going there. I'm till baffled on how this place is open.

So this place practices predatory pricing . Basically everything expect a few items are labeled 5.99 a pound . For 1.86 pounds I was charged 84 bucks . Sadly by the time I realized it was predatory pricing my children had already picked out their candy and it was weighed . 146 dollars total for roughly 5 pounds of candy . What happen was the larger items in bins marked 5.99 a pound are rang up at a per item price . For what you think is 30 bucks worth by weight will cost significantly more because only the small item candy is priced by weight and any larger items even if it states the price of 5.99 per pound will be rang up for 5.99 per piece or more . And lord help you if you have kids with you excited . Be prepared to not know the total and watch the cashier struggle to price everything . If the cashier isn’t helpful it’s probably because they also know it’s a scam and are unfortunately employed there . This isn’t an employee problem , it’s a management/ company problem .TLDR: roughly 5 pounds cost 146Predatory pricingCompany is the issue not unfortunate cashiers who are trained to ring up items the way they are expected to.As others stated watch for additional charges days afterward . I haven’t experienced this yet but it’s not beyond the realm of possibility with this store

Should have read the reviews before driving 20 min just for this store. Got all the way home to find cobwebs and a bug in a chick o stick. Candy is as hard as rocks. Based off the other comments and my own experience, I will NEVER go back here again.

My daughter and I went here, and the clerk lady was somewhat curt with us. Anyway, we chose our candy and she was crystal clear that whatever we put into the bulk bags we had to buy (which makes sense because you can't easily put bulk candy back). However, we asked her for a subtotal and she wasn't willing to! We got a big eye-roll; it was clear we'd have to add it up ourselves. So my daughter borrowed my phone and added up her purchases. The lady started ringing up my items, then said it'd be $70! I'm like, "There's no way this ads up to $70. It is about $42". Then she said "Well, the machine says it's $70!". And I said "Well, it's not correct." By now, someone was waiting behind us. The lady was visibly annoyed, and said "So now I have to ring it all up again?" The next people only wanted to buy two small items. The lady rudely asked my daughter to pick up her purchases from the counter. The lady was trying to SCAM us, by charging an extra $30 (almost double). I put all the toys back, after confirming they truly did add up to only $42 (and not $70). I paid for the $23 in bulk candy, and left. We will likely not shop here again.

You need to check all your candy, if you have flies buzzing around an area it's probably for a reason. We visited today and as I was unwrapping a chocolate covered cherry a maggot was in the wrapper. Will never visit again and hope you do a thorough inspection and cleaning of your store.

Should have turned around and walked out! All the candy in there is stale. All the chewy candies are hard as a rock and all the chocolates are turning stale white. Paid $9 for a bag of nothing but stale candy not edible what so ever!
