My daughter recently started at OSB. She loves it and so do I. Heck, I would love a program like this, with art, a gym, a music room with karaoké and instruments, education, field trips and more. Anyone on here complaining is frankly nit picking. (Like the person complaining about the provided transportation honking outside. Drive your member yourself, or have them READY TO GO and they won't need to honk!) Great program for the members, and a welcome bit of help for parents or other providers! THANK YOU OSB!

This is an organization, for profit, that neglects the adult mentally handicapped in our communities. Parents and guardians drop off their adult handicapped kids here thinking that they will be well taken care of during the day. osbi.gov This organization used to be fairly decent when effort was put in. Now, they are merely babysitters. Handicapped adults, unsupervised, can commit felonies! Its not that hard. They all have phones equipped with cameras, they know people all over the country, they take and send pictures that they think will be enjoyed by their friends. But a lot of people are not their friends. $80k/yr/client is what this place takes in from our government. And then ignores their clients. Call them, email them, let them know how much you appreciate them neglecting our handicapped children, FOR PROFIT.

Stopped by to pick up my son at the end of the day (3.30 pm), probably the busiest time all day. Traffic was manageable, and staff went out of their way to be friendly.

Our non-profit ordered lunch from them for our retreat event. Food was delicious? & fresh & their potato salad is one of the best I've had. Kodo's? for using a brown paper box container which housed our lunch VS styrofoam or plastic? ?TY???ALSO... TY for providing a life enriching opportunity & hiring our precious community who live daily with disabilities & challenges. Yet, through your business are offered the opportunity of working & providing for themselves as we all need to.

This is a well-organized business and I wish that Colorado had programs like this for my brother. He loves music and wants to play in a band so bad and here could.

At 730 or 8 am one of your vans is parked RIGHT OUTSIDE MY HOUSE and honks it's LOUD HORN over and over and over. This morning it was #72. There is something seriously wrong with your company or driver to think this is OK.

Did a tour with my son's new group home provider. Mr. Smyth and Ms. Stephanie were awesome. They answered all the questions that the group home staff had. Love OSBI!

With the lack of staff this company strives to provide inadequate programming. I'm unsure how 9 clients to 1 staff is appropriate not safe but yet this is my second time seeing it on this campus. I have my niece here and it pains me to see the decline in programming. Im unsure if the DDD standards for safe ratios have changed but I'm fairly certain 9:1 is not the ratio. No wonder I see this staff regularly upset or overwhelmed.

I recently interviewed for a teaching position with One Step Beyond Glendale. Interview was great and I was offered the position, although the communication afterwards was non existent. After I was offered the position on a Friday, I emailed the next day that I had to move some things in my schedule around, and I asked a few additional questions, as they had told me I could do so. After my two emails I received no response. Two weeks went by until I called and left messages on a Wednesday at the front desk and a direct one. Still no response. On Monday I called one last time and finally got the front desk. They relayed my message again and I finally got an email from HR that afternoon. They did apologize for the lack of communication and told me the job had been offered and accepted by another person because I had no gotten back to them. After this experience I had no interest in being involved with the company so I asked them not to keep my application and resume on file. I won't be recommending OSB to any students or other people in the future.
